Stopped here while shopping in Hartwell. It was clean and the food was a good temp. I would have given 5 stars but there was a hair in my fries..... I admit I ate em cause they were hot and I was ready!!! ???? hot fries are hard to come buy... (Apparently hairy ones arent)
Ok ok. Its close to a walmart, dollar tree, cato, dollar General, and a ice cream parlor. So shop and then come eat. I don't suggest the fry surprise unless you need some covid antibodies .
Well I haven't eaten at Wendy's in a while but they really have gone down
I ordered two son of baconators with lettuce and tomato added I got home there was no lettuce and tomato on the burgers they couldn't even follow directions and two half pieces of bacon on the sandwich that's supposed to be a bacon smothered burger. (Baconator) the picture even looks smother in bacon
Again I say Wendy's really has gone down
Quick drive through to get Frosty's and a burger. They made the burger properly, but it was half cooked, and I could only eat a couple of bites. They ran out of drink carriers, so had to put the Frosty's in a bag, which was awkward. They didn't give me a receipt.
I had excellent coupons, and the service was unusually fast and friendly, and the employees were courteous and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming.
Update Feb 2024: Salads have definitely shrunk in size the past couple years. Used to be that they were a meal, now they're side salads. The Chili tasted wonderful. Bathrooms smell of urine. I keep hoping things as a whole would improve, but alas...
Original Review: The apple pecan salad had nothing but lettuce, a couple wedges of apple, and a sprinkle of craisins (see photo). It was a sad salad. The guy taking my order barely spoke above a whisper. The sweet tea was very weak and the coke was weak and flat. Very lackluster experience all the way around.
Employees are always great here, but the food doesn't match the service. You can generally count on Wendys being the same everywhere you go, but this is not the case for the hartwell location. On several occasions, the fries are cold, the vegetables look like they are three days old, wilted, and soggy! I don't think the employees have good training on how the specialty sandwiches are made as they butcher their promo sandwiches.
Wendy's much better than any fast food restaurant out there
This has to be the worse wendys around I went to order my food at the drive thru the lady would not give me a chance to finish my order then told me to drive around when I got to the window I tried to finish my order then she told me she couldn't add anything else to the order and rolled her eyes at me . They acted like it was a problem with me doing business with them! I then told them I wasn't hungry any more and drove off. I will definitely never be back
