Food tastes good and is filling...But as for Dave Thomas inviting you as a senior citizen to be his guest for a free small fountain drink of a senior coffee on him; it just depends on who is working because the lady manager at the Wendy's in Columbus Indiana will actually call you out and tell you that you shouldn't be asking for handouts while telling you that you have to order something from the menu and pay for it. She is rude and intentionally tries to embarrass you. I'm on disability and sometimes its hard trying to make your "means" stretch until you get paid again. I buy the frosty things you put on your keychain and you shouldn't have to feel like you're begging to be able to use it.????????????
This is the newly opened Wendy's on national road in front of Rural King and I can't say anything about the atmosphere because I only ever use the mobile app and drive thru here. The people who take care of drive thru are friendly and helpful, and seem to like their job. I have never been given poor service and order is always correct.
They say tale orders then don't fill them causing issues for delivery. Be careful taking a late order from them cause they close at midnight not 1 like it says here.
Dine in: The “music” was tension provoking and awful. Poor sound quality. All the songs had an abnormal high pitched sound. I got headache and nausea. We requested they lower the “music” volume for a little bit, but they refused. We packed up our food and left before it made me vomit.
At this point, I doubt I’ll even be able to finish my food.
I cannot recommend dining in.
Quick and wonderful service. Food was well prepared. All the tables were dirty though so we had to clean one before sitting down.
I really loved the food here. I think the French toast sticks were amazing. They were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The drive thru was very fast. But, it was probably because I was there in the morning so it is probably more busy in the afternoon. I also tried the caramel coffee which I do recommend wasn't strong but it had a slight caramel flavor. I also got the cinnamon bun which was so soft and cinnamony. I do recommend this spot.
We got salads not much to them for the price. It's been a while since we have gotten a salad from there because they are pricey, but they were bigger and had more in them. Just had lettuce (which was wilted) and a few pieces of meat. Wasn't impressed ????. It was very clean during my visit and fast service.????
Drive through cashier did not take my card so that he could berate me for several minutes for having tattoos
