Best WLM Reviews

rectilinear
(adjective ) Straight lines only meeting at their ends.
So, kinda Lego, kinda 16-bit ???? (maybe 8-bit, but that was so long ago).  Certainly about: clean, in the sterile sense, ordered, containing & separated/apart.
I came in a while back and thought, 'This is ripe for review...it's SO squarey,' and then the enthusiasm waned.  Came back a couple more times and ~ kept walking into an empty dining room (maybe it's me ????) that Is such a character.
It didn't used to be.  The prior decor was 90's corporate compliant in the racetrack pattern, hanging plants blocking the ceiling hung TVs, faux Corian, a parade of once validated decent ideas eaten up by technology and spat out by the recent Time of Pestilence.
Thus I sit at a rectangular table on a decidedly rectilinear bench, against a thin rectangle of cushion.  This room is very squarey; I count 19 full ceiling tiles in 2 directions, the square floor tile mirrors the effect.  Wall tile envelopes the interior such that it seems pressure washer ready.  There's almost no fabric to ruin in the whole space.  And there's plenty of space to maintain social distributions.
As noted in other reviews, the colour pallet, post pandemic, is flattened, sharply curtailed into inhibited hues.  Nothing grows, nor shall it, whilst trying to say away from hospital sterility.
Somehow, the place seems to know.  The aphorism about not cutting corners goes as far as tattooing a table end, tho I feel like the designer reached the point of making fun of themselves.  The nested themes (very slightly) risk being overbearing, but the space seems to get the joke.
It's next to the airport: sleek little aeroplanes bounding into the air beyond the big rectangular glass windows across the front.  The "Freestyle" DIY drink dispenser is all organic curves.  The stream of cars to the drive through are styled in primary opposition.
Order in a disordered world, cleanliness in a messy society, and reliability amidst swirling change.  The irony is that it is rarely visited.
At night, there are too many Homeless activities around the soda machine and restroom. The staff is nasty; they must have that 5-second rule. If your order isn't right, they will speak in their native language, " Spanish," and your food will be worse than it was before you asked to be fixed. So, I choose a Refund.
I just want here today to get some lunch. I ordered a number eight which is the pretzel baconator and I wanted a double combo large. I go to pay the lady doesn't say anything could be a language issue that's okay. but I didn't get a receipt so I figured maybe they'll put it in the bag like McDonald's sometimes will do. I pull up to the other window to get my food and I left and once I got to my property I realized I did not get a pretzel baconator I got a regular baconator. in the frys suck compared to other Wendy's I've been to. Starchy and no salt.
When I tell u I have HAD IT with this place!!!! I place a mobile order and in the app, depending on what u order, it will not give u customization options for the "Pineapple Mango" drink. So, u have 2 order something else in the size u want, but u have 2 let them know can they switch the drink flavor.
I pull up 2 the 1st window cuz there was a car at the second window and I wanted to tell someone about the app and can they switch my drink b4 they make it and also, 2 make sure they prepare my burger how I ordered because this seems 2 be the ONLY location that does whatever they with ur order, i.e "they were trained 2 NOT put mustard on ur burger, so in order 2 get mustard, u have 2 select EXTRA mustard and then they will apply the regular amount 2 my burger!" WHAT?!?!?
I tried explaining the issue to the lady at the 1st window, and she responds "Eyyy I don't know!" WHAT?!?!? SERIOUSLY?!?!? Clearly, she can't assist me the customer, so I roll on down to the 2nd window, and the lady is already walking up with my bag of food in hand. I asked if it was prepared the way I ordered, and as I'm getting ready to mention the drink issue, another lady walks up with a drink. I begin to ask her why the app doesn't give u options when selecting Pineapple Mango? She replies, "I don't know! That's weird....I never heard anyone say that." Then, I tell her that I tried to have the lady at the 1st window mention the drink change b4 it was made and she tells me, "she probably doesn't know cuz she doesn't understand English that good!" Again, WHAT?!?!?! She proceeds to tell me that english isn't her 1st language and blah blah f***ing blah! Like why is she even there at the FIRST WINDOW????? If she can't speak nor understand English, how is she able to help ANY customer that comes thru that drive-thru???? Then, Narjess steps in with a simple, "we can change it for u!" YESSSSSS, NARJESS FOR THE WIN!!!!! That is literally what should have taken place once I explained the app issue, but NOPE, someone felt the need to stand there and debate with me because I didn't open Google Translate b4 I pulled up!
1. I'll get someone to help.
2. I apologize the app wouldn't allow u to make that selection. I can switch that out for u!
3. Again, my apologies for the mix up, Have a good night!
Those 3 simple options could have/should have been employed, but yet here we are and it makes NO SENSE! This is not the 1st, 2nd, nor 3rd incident at this location. I just try to be understanding and considerate, but I don't wanna make trouble for ANYONE in their workplace because I know what it's like to work in said setting, but because there is a language barrier I should have to accept someone arguing with me over ones language barrier ? No! If one can't speak and understand ENGLISH, one should not be the FIRST POINT OF CONTACT!
Thank You Narjess for displaying great Customer Service Etiquette, listening skills and stepping in to de-escalate the situation!
Food alright, but when I ordered my food at the drive thru, instead of giving it to me they made me wait in the parking lot. There wasn't anyone behind me in line, just pass it through the window, like any other drive thru in the country!
I ordered the spicy chicken with fries and sprite. The chicken tasted as if it was frozen, thawed, frozen and again, slightly thawed and fried. The sprite was way too carbonated. I was warned not to visit this location. Nonetheless, the staff were friendly.
I have almost never been given a receipt at this store but today I did and found out I was charged for the wrong thing which upped my cost by a little more than a dollar.
At the first window I was told that the price I was charged and the price for the item I ordered was the same but since this time I actually needed the receipt to reflect what I got I needed them to correct the error. When they did that is when I discovered the price difference. So, because I insisted they charge me the correct amount another worker took my card and charged the correct amount and then promptly refunded the correct amount, leaving the incorrect charge on my card.
In addition to the whole wrong item charge I also only got 6 of the 10 nuggets I ordered and was charged for.
I get that it's only a dollar, plus whatever the difference is between a 6 and 10 piece nugget is but this is just the first time out of dozens of Wendy's trips in which I never had the opportunity to correct. Fast food prices are already ridiculous and its possible that this restaurant has stolen hundreds of dollars from me over the last couple of years and thousands is you extrapolate the mistake out to all the customers who come through the drive through and aren't bothered to check or challenge.
The fact is, multiple employees lied about the cost of items I ordered and they were all content to allow me to be overcharged until I asked them to fix their mistake. And, they didn't actually fix it. There is a huge integrity issue here and from me experience there is no desire to fix it.
Pickup through drive-thru. Very polite and efficient staff member placed my order and took payment. Had a little longer wait than expected. They forgot my frosty with my order but prepared it for me quickly.
