Date and Time of Visit: 5/29/24 8:45 PM: You guys should win an award for being the slowest fast food restaurant. Normally, I wouldn't care about waiting that much, but I was trying to catch the bus. Waiting 14 minutes for two junior cheeseburgers is maybe a tiny bit outrageous though, no?
Also, I still wouldn't have cared that much if one of the employees there didn't try to single me out when making an announcement that "Nothing is ready" and to wait.
For context, I was the only person who was waiting my turn and after a few minutes, tried to get someone's attention in case it was ready and just sitting there (because again... I just ordered... 2 junior cheeseburgers) and turned my phone to show my name and at that moment, she decided to make that announcement and then proceeded to ask me if I can understand her in a condescending tone like if I'm 3 years old.
I still had my phone slightly turned toward her direction, which I guess is what she thought warranted belittling me, but only because I was busy listening to what she was saying in a loud setting. I don't know if she expected me to immediately pull my phone back towards me like if she were trying to steal it, but the bottom line is that she had no reason to be a jerk about it.
Anyways, I only come here because I don't have any other Wendy's near me or this would be my last option. The customers that come here are just as rude as the staff. Oh and be prepared to be harassed by 100 bikers (literally) when you come here because they use Wendy's and the McDonald's across the street as a hangout spot.
I wouldn’t bother wasting my money at most restaurants in Muscatine and this is one of them. The quality of food is poor yet the price is high. I asked for a fountain water and she took my card and proceeded to hand me a bottle water which she charged me for. I didn’t even get a receipt. Overall this place doesn’t deserve anyone’s money.
There is no communication between leads and workers. Food has gone downhill, overpriced, and the people are rude. We ordered chili at 6:30 at night and they didn't have any because the day shift people didn't make the meat!?!??! Now if your a manager shouldn't you know how to make it?
If I could give a less than one star review I would. The staff seem to be lazy messy. I get that its fast food, but it's disgustingly lazy. There is no effort to build burgers or sandwiches, it looks like the paper was laid down and the contents tossed onto it and rolled. I have been to this Wendy's 3-4 times and will not be going back. Every burger is sloppily built, tastes like it was cooked on a dirty grill and is swimming in grease. Save your money and get some decent gas station food from kum and go. You will be happier.
1030 at night it's just me and another vehicle there they told me to pull up after paying to wait. Food comes out, fries are cold sandwiches are mediocre. Laughably bad since they made me pull up like they were actually doing something.
Check your bag!! I looked through the bag just after pulling up after receiving my order. They were confused on the drinks and how many, even with it on the screen, must not know how to read, forgot 2 full orders!! I went in and stood for 5 minutes all while the girl at the counter kept looking at me, not once asking if I needed anything after placing the big bag of food on the counter. I had to ask where the rest of my orders were. They didn't make the one and just didn't put the other one in the bag, guess their hands got tired. The fry guy had earbuds in and no headset, pretty sure that's the main reason things weren't made. Upon getting home, one kids meal had a nugget carton and fries but no nuggets...this place needs shut down.
SLad was over-priced and awful.
Latches on bathroom stalls are broken. Interior of restaurant is lacking perso amity. Very bland!
Used to me my favorite place to get a burger. Since covid it has changed. I'm not sure they have enough help at times and the food is not always fresh. Chili is always good.
