Wendy's continues to disappoint. I got the Asiago Ranch Chicken Club with fries. As usual, the Wendy's fries underwhelm. The provided sea salt refuses to stick to them to add to the flavor. The sandwich, well, to me it looks like they've changed their chicken. It's starting to resemble a Tyson chicken patty rather than a breaded chicken breast. It was okay. I asked for no tomato. I got a perfectly cut circle of tomato on my chicken that I had to remove. The 2 slivers of bacon didn't add much to the experience. The highlight was a Diet Sprite that was excellent. All that for about $14 for one person, medium size. The meal, not the person.
Disabled person using the drive thru was told that they HAVE to come inside to order as they are not serving any on at the drive thru because they don't have enough employees, I pull up to the windows only to see at least 4 employees (that I can see) standing around doing absolutely nothing. I also have a vid. Last pic is Elizabeth, the person in charge that made the decision to not serve a disabled person in the drive thru.
Wendy’s is almost always consistent. I like their food but love their strawberry lemonade. The East Greenbush store is usually quick and accurate and oddly so is the one in Schenectady. The one on Troy-Schenectady Rd however treat you like you’re bothering them by ordering.
When ordering here make sure you bring someone who speaks Spanish. The staff doesn't understand or speak English. Ordered 3 items, taco salad, extra chili and medium coke. Lady that took my order didn't understand me at all. Got my order, taco salad (no nachos) chili (mostly liquid) watered down coke. When I asked for my extra chili, the guy at the window had no idea what I said. When I got home, both chilies had mostly liquid, not enough chili between the 2 to fill even 1/2 bowl of 1. I don't know if they're trying to skimp or if they were running out, but if they don't fix the issues they won't stay opened for much longer.
I walk in to order and stood there for 5 mins and not one person acknowledged me. When they finally come to take my order it’s 3 of them, one I guess is training but none of them speak English. The girl asks what I want and then the other two just start laughing for no reason. I decide I don’t want Wendy’s at this point and they start laughing more so I asked them why they’re laughing and then the manager defends the behavior instead of deescalating and taking my order herself since there is a language barrier. The worse customer service I’ve ever had and people told me not to ever go there and now I see why. I will be making a few calls to corporate about this rest assured.
Went in just for a soda, saw a commercial they were $1 so ordered the soda rang up $4 tried to ask if it was $1 did not speak English so did not understand me. Bought it anyways and went to get it there was no ice and both sodas I wanted were out.
Terrible service. Ordered 2 single burgers no cheese. Got home had two double burgers slathered in cheese. I tried to scrape it off with no luck. Had to throw 14 dollars worth of food out. Called restaurant they said I could order something else. Went back, they then said no. Called them twice they hung up on me. They've lost a long time customer.
The customer service at this location maybe the worst of any fast food establishment I have visited in the past 20 year's. The wait time just to have your order taken is going to be at least 5 minutes regardless of time of day or day of the week. Followed up with the order being made incorrectly. This has never been a top end establishment, but whatever changed within there since December 2023, this place has reached an all time low. I will gladly take the extra drive time to Altamont ave.
