When an employee makes a diet drink and a regular drink but doesn't mark the cup that is bad enough, but when a customer explains that they are diabetic, the correct thing to do would be to dump the drinks and make new ones. I realize that drinks are only $1 right now, but I stop by Wendy's several times a week and some days multiple times for multiple people. I expect when I order something that it be quick, semi-edible, and my order to at least be accurate. I enjoy eating the salads and baked potatoes but I can get these items elsewhere. Then for an employee to look at me like I have 3 heads for simply asking them to make me a diet soda. I am severely diabetic and take multiple insulin products and injections daily. I have to be very careful with the food I consume or it can end up being the difference in having a great day or ending up admitted to the hospital. Today, I ended up leaving with two sodas unsure which one was the diet. Today, I left Wendy's very disappointed. Today, I went without my caffeine because a Wendy's employee doesn't care about customers and potentially put a customer in peril. Not a good day for Wendy's! If I could rate them 0 I would and please understand prior to today I would have ranked them among my favorites and at least 4.5 stars but they no longer deserve my patronage. Be sure you check your sodas carefully if you are diabetic.
To be honest, it's near impossible to get good service anywhere today. The staff here was fast and friendly! I'm Keto (plus dairy free), and I always get a lettuce wrap #1. Usually, it's a mess, but they made a great sandwich with a great attitude and quick. I felt like I went back in time 10 years ????
Everything was great! Super friendly, clean, and nice restaurant.
We went through the drive-through to get 2 Baconators and french fries. When we ordered, I specifically requested singles, not doubles. When we finally got up to the window, the girl asked if we were the double Baconators and fries. I told her no, the Baconators were singles. She informed me that you had to specify for the Baconators to be singles. Otherwise, they were always doubles. I told her that I did request singles. She couldn't change it herself and had to get, I'm assuming, the shift manager to change the order. When I asked how much I owe her, she repeated the same price as before. I asked why it was the same price for singles and doubles? The girl again asked the shift manager, who rudely implied she'd already changed the price, which she had not. The shift manager informed me it was the same price as she'd told me earlier. I realize that managers are having a hard time because of no one wanting to work. That being said, there were two girls at the window besides the shift manager. I'm sure the shift manager was tired, but there's no reason to be rude and charging me the same price for singles as doubles and not giving me a receipt. I doubt that we'll be back.
Cup of chili about an inch from the top of the cup.
Employee curtly states they filled it to "line" like they're supposed to - the "line" is about a half an inch from the top.
Still at counter, requested audience with manager.
Before looking at cup of chili, m.o.d. (approximately
3pm, 10/24/24) immediately/quite curtly attempts to defend employee.
After actually looking at the cup chili, the m.o.d. begrudgingly prepares a replacement cup of chili.
They (Wendy's) keep digging deeper & deeper into my pockets, then are stingy/skimpy with their portions.
I've been a customer of this Wendy's (Brevard, NC) for more than 20 years.
Won't be back.
I sat in drive thru for 40 minutes with just 5 or 6 cars ahead of me at around 7 pm on Sunday. They would take an order and would wait until that vehicle has left the pickup window before they would take the next order, when I finally made it to place my order, I was put on hold, when I questioned what was taking so long, I was told very rudely that it was not my concern and I have to wait. I'm done with this Wendy's.
Super quick service.
Food was piping hot and delicious.
Store was very clean, employees were friendly and laid back.
Food is always fresh. The saucy nuggets (bbq) is my favorite thing to get. They're always nice when I go in
