I have stopped at this Wendy's several times, and every time I've tried to get a frosty, they either don't have any available or not the right flavor. Another disappointment was the size of the BLT Crispy Chicken sandwich. It looked like something meant for a child. Let me finish with the service. I went through the drive-thru, and the man at the window was rude. I guess he missed how customers should be treated. He seemed quite annoyed when I brought to his attention that my frosty was wrong. No apologies for not having what I actually ordered. I was not asked if I wanted a substitute... just expected to take a different flavor. I received more attitude when I just asked for a credit for the unwanted frosty. Go to the McDonalds down the street. Their service (and food) is much better. I won't be going to this Wendy's again!
Several times I have been here for lunch, especially on Sundays, and lunch items aren't available. It's not like I'm there at 10:30 in the morning, more like 12:30/1:00 Sunday is the worst. At this point I just don't even go anymore.
Janyryah met us with smiles upon entering and took our order. We were given superb service along with hot, fresh food. Even when eating she made sure to come around and check on us. The tables were clean, the whole store was clean and this was restaurant quality in fast food. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! Great job everyone! Even my son said this is the best Wendy's he's ever been to.
Meant to post this review sooner. I don’t reside in Edenton, but go there often to visit. I almost always go to Wendy’s and I’ve never had a good experience. This most recent one specifically was the nail in the coffin. We visited Wendys on 12/1/24 and ordered a double Baconator with no ketchup or mayo and a Ghost Pepper Ranch Chicken Sandwich with no tomato. After getting our order we checked our bag and realized the entire order was wrong. There was a regular cheeseburger and then a Baconator with SO MUCH ketchup and mayo (specifically asked for this off). I don’t eat burgers so we went back inside to get what we paid for so I could eat. Upon going back inside, the staff were incredibly rude and not only that, the manager was even more rude. The manager was some younger girl who immediately caught an attitude with my fiancé and basically insinuated that we were lying. They JUST saw us in the drive-thru, we never left the lot. We can in again not even 5 minutes after receiving our order. Eventually we did get the food but it took about 20 minutes for them to even get it to us. The fries were unsalted, they still put tomato on the chicken sandwich (which was better bc at least I could take that off), and the food was just not good quality. I go to Wendy’s in my hometown often and have always received great food and great service. But this Wendy’s needs a serious revamping of their staff team.
Needless to say, do not waste your money here! Taco Bell & McDonalds are closer and at least they have nicer staff members & the food comes out correctly. If you’re going to be rude to your customers, don’t work in customer service!
I ordered chicken nuggets and they appeared almost immediately, meaning they were already waiting under a heat lamp and not freshly made. They were just a bit greasy tasting, but edible. My main concern was that the customer floor area needs deep cleaning with soap. It was slippery from being quick-mopped with the same mop used in the prep area and not rinsed well. My shoes were slipping and I had to walk slowly. It was not wet...it was greasy. I only saw 2 people working there, so I'm sure they are short handed and not able to do a proper job with everything.
I would like to praise Ms. Shameka for going above and beyond to make sure my order was satisfactory. Her customer service was exceptional and she was very pleasant in her can-do attitude! She's a keeper!
So I went to Wendy's to order some food and the lady working said "Just to let you know we don't have anymore meat" ????♀️ WHAT? I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A PLACE THAT SAID THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY MEAT. It's rare I even go to Wendy's because it seems like it's always something ???? but I know I definitely won't be going back. #NoMeatWendy's #FastFoodFail
Customer service here is horrible. They always have an attitude, and the order is never right. ???? Just go further down the road to Dairy Queen don't waste your money here.
