This is a Wendy’s like any other, but a very, very popular Wendy’s. I suspect its location has something to do with the long line. It’s right off the highway, very convenient. I thought the food was good. We asked for our fries to be crispy and they were in fact crispy. My burger had no onions, per my request. Even with the long line they got our order right. If I am going through Dalhart again I will probably stop here.
The food was so bad. The patties were bad and it was the most putrid hamburger I’ve had from a Wendy’s. I was actually shocked. Coming from a person who likes Wendy’s all their life. But I was in disbelief. Stopped here during a road trip, so I’m relieved to never have that bad standard and quality at this location.
Warning: service slower than dial-up internet. Lobby's got a funky funk going on. No outdoor seating? Check. No trash can? Check. And those nuggets? Just barely warmer than the welcome. Definitely not worth $37.00 for two meals.
Just ordered a salad. They used to have a freshly grilled piece of chicken on top. Received the most disgusting, small pieces of dried out chicken that were completely inedible on my salad today. So dry they resembled croutons. Disgusting. Threw it away, what a joke.
Asked for the new Cinnabon pull apart rolls. On the menu, it said $1.39. He charged me $3.69. Afterward, I realized why my bill was so high and went back to the counter to get my money back. He said it was $3.69. I pointed to the menu, which clearly showed 1.39. He got the manager, and she said the menu price was incorrect. I said I might not have ordered had I know the real price. She walked off and changed the price on the menu without saying anything else to me. Also, the flies were really bad. Poor customer service!!
Good food, friendly staff and clean restaurant.
The burger was dry and the beacon taste like it was microwaved early in the morning and left in the warmer all day. As for service the main door would lock and not let anyone in, almost everyone came back for miss part of the meal or condiments not given in the first place.
Not a typical Wendys experience. Food was cold when delivered … and we were dining in. Cold fries are the worst. Coke machine out of most flavors. Large crowd being waited on by one person. Rude customers not practicing social distancing. Will not return.
