I am deeply disappointed and hurt by my recent experience at the Wendy’s on Old National. What should have been a quick, simple visit turned into one of the most distressing and humiliating situations I’ve ever encountered.
Not only was the staff unprofessional and completely lacking in basic customer service, but I was also met with blatant hostility from management. Instead of addressing my concerns in a respectful manner, they threatened me, told me I would wait over an hour, and escalated the situation by calling the police—an act that felt entirely unnecessary and seemed intended to inflict emotional harm. I felt targeted, vulnerable, and humiliated in front of others, all over what should have been a straightforward matter.
What’s more disturbing is that the management chose to record me and take photos of my car and license plate. This invasion of privacy left me feeling violated and intimidated. I never expected to be treated this way by a place I frequented for a simple meal. I understand businesses have policies, but the lack of professionalism, respect, and humanity in this case is unacceptable.
I hope Wendy’s corporate takes note of the toxic environment at this location. No one should have to leave feeling threatened, hurt, and emotionally scarred.
Thanks to “Q” the shift manager, “Lisa” the general manager, and the other lady with the dreads, I will NEVER return to this location. I doubt those are the names and titles, but that’s what they gave me this incident was today 11/03/2024 at 7:11pm.
Dining room is suppose to open at 9am, not one time I’ve been here and it was open at 9am. Usually doesn’t open until at least 10:30 and that is ridiculous! False advertising also
Check your food smh. I don’t eat sausage but received this when I ordered egg and cheese. 5 star for service because the girl at the first window was so sweet but DO BETTER.
The way they always mess up your order is ridiculous. Even if you come back for them to fix it they will still mess it up, no matter how many times you go back! Almost like it’s on purpose!
I tried again this week assuming if I don’t customize my salad, it would come correct. I ordered an apple pecan salad. It was an entirely different salad. They gave me a Cobb salad and just threw apples on top. Literally never coming to this Wendy’s location again.
Excellent customer service. I went to the drive-through to get lunch around 11 am. The young lady was awesome. And the Apple Pecan salad was very good. Thank you for a wonderful experience. It was much better than my past encounters.
The service here at night is absolutely terrible. The door shows that the inside of the store closes at 9pm , however it was closed at 8pm. I placed a carry out order and the workers tonight refused to give me my food at the window , even though the closed the store early . There was a black lady with dreads or braids and a older Hispanic lady there tonight , both extremely rude . How do you hire people for customer service with no customer service ? Then after asking them to cancel my order, even though it says it’s ready , they asked me to cancel so that I could be charged . I never received my food , these two ladies deserve to be fired or take a customer service class at most. This is the job you decided to work at and a smile is apart of your uniform , please learn to wear it !
Went inside to make a counter order and the lobby was packed. There were guests waiting for their food who had been there for over 20 minutes there was nothing but chaos no organization and instead of worrying about guests that were there it appeared there were only concerned with bagging up Uber eats and not the guests in the lobby. Management spoke rudely to the employees and it even spilled over onto some guests. It was a large heavyset light-skinned lady. I just left without ordering due to all of the chaos and took my daughter somewhere else.
Food was hot and fresh! Glad I stopped by this location today.
I haven’t eaten at this location in over a year due to constant poor customer service and food. Today the food and service exceeded expectations ????????????????
