Came by Wendy’s on Convoy last night. It was a foggy, cold night, and a chicken sandwich sounded good. When I pulled up, I noticed the new “ghost pepper ranch chicken sandwich.” I like spicy stuff, and so I decided to get it. The chicken itself was unexpectedly juicy. The sandwich overall was pretty good, though it wasn’t nearly as spicy as I thought it would be. Flavor was there, though. The staff were nice and easygoing. Overall a decent, quick, fairly flavorful fast-food experience.
Tried the $1 breakfast biscuits. The bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit had a fair amount of bacon and a thin disk of egg. The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit had a good sized "signature square" sausage patty, and a thin disk of egg. This one was the more filling of the two. The biscuits were fluffy, and both sandwiches were tasty. The eggs are about half the thickness of McDonald's Egg McMuffin eggs. Overall, a good deal for a $1 each. Update: Got a classic chicken sandwich and a spicy chicken sandwich. Both were very tasty, but they were thinner that what you get at Popeyes or KFC. Update: Got a double cheeseburger. It was good, with a fair amount of meat. Update: Got a single cheeseburger. It was good. Wendy's has the best non-charbroiled fast food burgers with good sized burger patties. They need to revive the "Where's the beef?" commercials. Update: Got a junior bacon cheeseburger and a dreamsickle frosty. Both were good. Update: Got a junior bacon cheeseburger and a frosty. Why did they add soooo much of this sauce to my breakfast sandwich? There is a pool of it in the wrapper. I don’t go to Wendy’s much at all so I don’t know if this is normal or not…
We’ve went a couple of times and staff has been friendly. We’ve run into issues with attempting to use the Wendy’s app and they’ve helped us each time. The serving time is reasonable and food has always been to good quality when it comes to fast food.
Ok, I only went for the $1 small Frosty but it was worth it. I was out and about on a hot summer day and thought what the heck. The staff was friendly even though I was only spending a buck. Restaurant was clean and I was out and back in the heat in no time. But it was a nice break.
We went through the drive thru here and the manager paid 0 attention to what we were asking for. We got the 20 sauced nuggets and they only had 16, fine. But then he proceeded to not ask what we wanted in replacement, but told us he was giving us 4 spicy nuggets. My husband and I both don’t like spicy. They didn’t give us straws/forks and also forgot a large fry we were charged for. Also, we gave him our card to pay, he gave us the card back with a receipt, then said “oh I didn’t charge you I gave you your card with the kitchen receipt.”
I love how Wendy’s always provides great deals on the app! It definitely saves me a ton of money when I’m in a pinch for breakfast! Keep up the great deals, Wendy’s! I especially love their chicken breakfast items
Terrible spicy chicken sandwich, like what is this? It's so hard and super dry. Why are you guys even reheating up the old food for customers?? This is not a 8 dollar combo.. Now I gotta drive back and forth in traffic.. what a waste of time and money. I was able to get a refund, but very disappointed with the so called quality meals. Sorry Dave you'll be missed..
