Worst meal we've had in a long time. Fries were so old they just hung in your hand. My sandwich was supposed to be no pickle and you can tell it had pickles on it, but they took them off-fyi the pickle juice is still on the sandwich, stop thinking you can just pick the pickles off! The lady at the window was nice, but neither of us could even finish our food. This place used to be good!
Been here multiple times and food has been cold 2 times in a row! Got to the drive thru zero greeting just a “go ahead” ordered our food pulled up to the window and got awful service the entire time until I asked for their name (Trisha) at the window…got home which is only a few mins away and boom! Burger was not even warm at all atleast this time the cheese was semi melted I guess, fries cold, utterly disappointed this place deserves no business definitely won’t get mine again!
Sat in drive thru. Said hello several times. No response. Drive by windows saw people working. Went to Arby's. Arby's was great!
Everything was luke warm at best, undercooked chicken spicy sandwich that couldn't be eaten (was literally cold and hard), fries that were all wilted, and chili with beans still rock hard. Ridiculous! Paid almost $40 for meals we could not eat. Tried calling to have it corrected and no one answers the phone. Stay clear of the Kendallville Wendy's. They also had an employee outside scrubbing the parking lot drive thru lane with no gloves or PPE on and then went inside and grabbed our food with no washing of their hands. Wendy's deserves better leadership at their Kendallville location, as I am sure Wendy's hold a higher standard than what this crew seems to offer.
I want there today to get some breakfast who was 10:30 a.m. and they do stop breakfast at 11:00 so ask her if they can take my order they did when I get to the window they said oh we don't have coffee I'm like what why not and one of the employees whispered we cant make coffe its almost late then she told coffe dispenser broke I'm like no I heard what your co-worker told you so I will never come back here again
I've been here several times over the years and it's hit or miss tbh. Sometimes my sandwiches are fresh, and sometimes the spicy chicken sandwiches taste like they have been in the warmer for hours. There are hold times for a reason. Just wish I could consistently get fresh food from here. The chili is usually good, as well as the frosty. Service is either great or slow, no in between.
The drive thru employee was extremely rude right off the bat before we even said anything to her. I don't mind short responses normally but it was over the top abrasive. Nuggets good as always.
Where do I begin?
Normally, I prefer to give a mostly positive review, and give a little grace , but this visit was very disappointing.
When we walked in, the cashier wasn't there to take the order. She SAW us come in. She took her time getting to the cash register, almost like she was hoping we would leave. She finally came to the counter, but never greeted us or even smiled. Talk about feeling like a major inconvenience!
Then we sat down, went to the counter when our name was called to pick up our food. Started to have our meal and realized that our French fries were barely luke warm, and tasted as though they had been sitting a while. We decided to take them back and tell them they weren't warm or fresh. When my husband got up, the only other people in the restaurant were told us they had just done the same, as their fries were cold too. When my husband told the young man that came to the counter that the fries were cold, the young man proceeded to tell him that those fries just "came up" from cooking.... actually arguing that the fries were not cold!
We did get fresh fries that were good, but when I got to the bottom of my frie container, there was a hair in it ????
By that point, I decided to not even bother with telling them. We did decide to give one last shot, and got frostys. They were very good, but neither were full. The picture is of my husband's frosty when he removed the lid. Again, we figured "why bother," so we finished and left.
Needless to say, I will be contacting corporate.
