Food was fire…per usual….the manager takes pride in his job. As he should, but instead of pulling his employee to the side after the issue got resolved he yelled at the employee while there were 2 people in line waiting to order and a father and his younger daughter in the dining room waiting to get there food. He didn’t use any profanity but still caused a slightly hostile environment. Again, he’s good at his job but obviously still new and learning his job as well. He was polite to me while taking my order and serving me my food though.
First off I just want to say I honestly don’t know how this Wendy’s in Evansville is still operating, they must be making bank because I’ve repeatedly been here thinking “oh it’s just a bad experience next time will be better” and it’s been worse every time. Now people will say “why keep going there then” because out of the 3-4 Wendy’s in Evansville this is the “best” one and that’s not saying a lot or even anything. The only better one is the one way out on highway 41 by Darmstadt which is a drive for me. let me start why I am writing this review now. I’ve been going here a year now and the A/C has not worked since I started going here a YEAR ago. I attempted to go there at 4:30pm yesterday on a Saturday and they were closed on the inside. Tonight when I came here I kid you not it took me 10 minutes for the employee to even take my order and I had a $1 nugget coupon I used with my order ended up paying full price for a nugget and got a free one. ordered 2 jr bacon biggie bags and didn’t even attempt to tell me they were OUT OF CHEESE AND MAYO until I started eating my food and offered no refund or exchange just said a simple shrug and “sorry”. the parking lot reeks of marijuana every time at night and the employees are high (probably why the food is always messed up) and very rude. I really wish this place would shut down I can’t believe it hasn’t. Evansville needs to do better.
The sauced suggest we're great. Service was good, staff was friendly regardless of the rush. Atmosphere is only 2 stars due to something being broken in the lobby. This isn't really anyone's fault, understanding that I wasn't bothered by it.
Try to smile some times. District Manager if you are reading this tell them the food is great but their attitude is lacking energy Love y'all tho ❤
The general manager of this store, Derrick, is pretty insufferable. I know a job like this can be stressful but this guy has to have stress at home and to bring it to your work, and release it on your crew. The worst sign for a leader and it shows to why I'm always waiting 5 or more minutes for my food.
Food on floor, someone had barfed at our table so we moved. Service very slow, only 2 man op. Very stingy on my large order of chilli. But it was good.
The Lincoln Ave location is dirty & the staff is incredibly rude! I ordered a mobile pick up order; the nuggets were spicy & the fries were cold, also no dipping sauce was included. I called to speak w/a manager to see if I could bring the food back & get fresh fries & the correct nuggets, I was told without a receipt they couldn't do anything. Mind you, it was a pick up order-no receipt was stuck on or inside the bag. I quickly realized I had my receipt on the app; they STILL refused to replace my order OR give me fresh fries saying without a PHYSICAL receipt they couldn't do anything. I requested a number for corporate so I could contact someone & they refused to give me that as well! I will NEVER return to this ghetto establishment!
Would you kindly update your hours? I arrived at 10:30, waited for the car in front of me to place their order. Pulled up, and was told "Sorry, we are currently closed." Don't underestimate how much people, esp. people with insomnia like me, rely on online info.
