Best WLM Reviews

If you want Wendy’s in Elko, this is the best one to come to. Clean and usually fresh food, but some of the attitude from the older staff is horrible. The other day I asked for napkins and lady with glasses, wearing a visor with brown, long hair rolled her eyes and sighed at me in the drive thru. She’s given attitude more than once before. I understand its stressful when you’re busy, but it’s your job. Other employees have been great though.
I had an absolutely terrible experience at Wendy’s today. I pulled up to the drive-thru, excited to grab some breakfast, only to be told they were *out of everything*. No breakfast items, not even basic things like coffee or hash browns. I asked if they had anything available, and the woman at the intercom snapped, “I already told you, we’re out of everything,” as if I was inconveniencing her just by asking.
I tried to remain polite and ask for any other options, but she was incredibly rude and clearly annoyed by my questions. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a fast food place before. I understand that sometimes things run out, but the lack of customer service and the rude attitude made this experience miserable. I won’t be returning anytime soon. Avoid this Wendy’s if you want decent service and food.
Overall disappointing experience. Thankfully the food was good.
This store have five kiosks for you to place your order on. We walked up to the counter because we prefer a team member to take our order - after waiting a bit, no one looked at us, so we starting placing an order on one of the kiosks. Come to find out, this kiosk was cash only, and after getting an employees attention for help, she points to a sign above our heads and says “yeah, these kiosks are cash only.” By that point, our whole order had disappeared from the kiosk. We then had to replace our order again..
Just very inconvenient and annoying because we wanted a team member to take our order in the first place.
We then received our order, and checked the bag for everything. There was no spoon for the frosty. After searching and then asking for one, the manager informs us they are out. She said “that’s why we put a fork in your bag.”
The fact they were out of spoons is one thing, but to then not tell us, and assume we know that’s what the fork is for is just poor customer service.
There is also a Walmart one minute away, they could have gotten spoons.
Zero regard for customer service at this location.
By far the worst experience I’ve had at Wendy’s. The fries were rock hard, the soda was flat for all five of us that ate there, and we waited 20 minutes only to find out they hadn’t started the order because we chose to pay cash. Which ironically, there was a sign above the register that said paying with cash, order here. They told us to order on the kiosk instead. Hopefully they improve.
Ordered three large chili’s with no onions or cheese. Got home and it’s nothing but watered down stew! Was gross. Called and spoke with the manager. All we got told was its procedure to re heat the chili with water. You can drink it with a straw! Was disgusting. The baconator was dry too. The Wendy’s on Idaho street is much better! With their customer service and food.
Tried going for the dine-in experience but that part was closed. Used the drive-thru and that went smoothly. Since it was kinda too hot to eat at one of their nice lil outdoor tables, we took our food to a city park nearby. That's where we tried the Classic Asiago Club sandwich, which is a breaded, fried chicken patty plus bacon, and topped with a creamy dressing. Very tasty. Extra fresh tomato, I will say! And the Baconator Double was truly double. Neither of us could finish our sandwiches, especially knowing the calorie count (easily available online). Anyway, quite good. Beverages good, plenty of ice. Fries crispy and fresh. A successful lunch! Thanks, Wendy's.
Husband always has good food from here but they always seem to be out of baked potatoes or really anything I try to order from here.
Went through the drive through and ordered ghost pepper nuggets ranch and a drink. Got my drink and my nuggets no ranch, no napkins, and no straw. Definitely not the right nuggets either. .
