Slowest service at any Wendy's I've gone to! Everytime I come here I go to the drive thru and you wait forever no matter what time of day. You pull up to place your order and they don't even acknowledge you by saying "be with you in a moment", just dead silence. Finally had to say "hello". They weren't even busy, no one in front of me. Terrible! Then I ordered a Chilli and I open the lid and it's only 1/2 full. And I paid $3. for that!! ????
Garbage! I guess this place doesn't actually want you to spend money here. I'm not a Reading resident but wanted breakfast and saw online that Wendy's served breakfast until 10:30am. It was 10am and this place was 15 min. away so I hope in the car in my pajamas and head straight there. I sit in the drive thru for a full five minutes..."Hello?? Hello?" Nothing. So I pull up to window 1. No one. So I pull up to window 2. Staff see me there and just don't come over to the window. It is now 10:25 and I'm pissed. So I park, walk in, and all of the sudden five employees come up to the front counter and say they're not open. I say so you're not serving breakfast? And they said no. I said there's a huge sign outside advertising your breakfast and they just repeated themselves and said we're not serving breakfast. And we're not open. It's 10:30. Someone is sitting in the restaurant and the door is open. But apparently they are not open and are not serving breakfast. They could have saved me a lot of trouble by just saying that into the drive-thru speaker instead of completely ignoring me the entire time and then being rude as hell when I walked in the open door.
Credit card reader was broken saying my card was expired and it's got over a year left. Trash all over the place not clean, no napkins, asked for spicy chicken got garlic and shorted the order of nuggets. Don't recommend going here ever!!!
If I could give this Wendy’s 0 stars I would. We’ve tried multiple times to get food here and never actually got food. The wait is astronomical. Ended up walking inside to nobody actually working. Standing around on phones. The inside food area is disgusting. This place needs to be shut down and taken under new management along with everyone fired and hiring completely new people. Don’t waste your time.
Ordered a chicken Asiago combo without bacon, but they still charge you for the bacon. The cooks were touching their face and would continue to prepare food. The staff was very loud and carrying on despite customers seeing there obnoxious behavior. The worst part of it all is that the female leader or supervisor was in it and complaining about a customer that came through the drive thru. This supervisor was even swearing to her staff about the situation she just experienced with the drive thru customer. This is not definitely a place worthy of eating and surely operating as a food business. I learned a lesson today, I should have trusted my instincts and dine at an upper level respectful atmosphere restaurant. If I want to see clowns perform, I can stay home and watch reruns
of Jerry Springer.
Every single time we come here the entire crew is outside smoking at the door. We had to go inside because the drive thru was down. The vial smell at the door of smoke was terrible. We got our order taken right away which is great but the floors were so slippery. We got our food within a timely manner but it was incorrect. the entire place was filthy nothing was clean. When i went back inside to get the order fixed I watched a lady grab the fries with her bare hands. DO NOT EAT HERE!! I have no idea how they can be up to code or passing any health inspections. I can only imagine how the inside of the frosty machine looks or the free style soda machine.
I'm not sure what happened to fast food, but it isn't fast. Not convenient to wait for 30 minutes. Would have left but was already committed to the order, which was $60. Guess everything seems expensive. I don't normally eat out, but the kiddo wanted a burger and frosty. He was even telling us to bail. I did buy a booklet of frosties for a future date.
I work in the same shopping plaza, so while on my lunch break I placed my order online to try and save on time. I ended up having to wait the same if not longer than just going inside. The food was hot but swimming in so much mustard I couldn't eat it.
