I placed an order through their app for pickup. In the app, there was an option to purchase boo books. I ordered two.
Once it was my turn at the window to pick up my order, one person, I don't know his name, handed me three drinks. (Not in a drink holder)
Another person (Sarah on Apron) handed me my bag of food. She stated we don't have boo books. I said okay. She closed the window. I was still missing two additional drinks.
She opened the window back up and I asked for a refund for the books and my two drinks. Finally, she handed me $2 in cash and my receipt and then my drinks. She closed the window.
I still sat there because I had two children in the backseat that now had drinks and no straws. So when she opened the window again, I asked for straws.
This seems petty, but there was not anything pleasant about this experience other than the beautiful day it was outside. No, I'm sorry, or thank you, or have a nice day! No smile or welcome.
We frequent this location, and this was the first terrible customer service experience we've had.
If someone is having a bad day, I'd hope you could move them to another area where they are not customer facing. If I had this experience, how many others experienced the bad attitude that day?
I went through the drive thru a few days ago for breakfast at 8:30. They were out of eggs and waiting for the truck to unload. I got a chicken honey biscuit. It was ok but the seasoned potatoes were undercooked. I figured everyone can have a bad day. Then this morning at 9:00 I tried again. The line was barely moving and even after pulling up to order I was asked to wait. Five minutes later someone took my order and told to pull around for my total. Again I had to wait and the lady at the window seemed overwhelmed. Minutes later I finally got the order. Since I had never been given a read back of my order and nothing on the screen I quickly checked the bag to make sure all was there only to get home and find there was no bacon on the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I have been through during lunch and gotten great service but breakfast is pretty bad.
The food is absolutely delicious every single time. No matter the time you go, there is a line around the building. Sanitation score is 100, quick and friendly service, and the food is consistently unbeatable. Before I lived locally, I would drive 30 minutes to this location. Best Wendy’s ever.
The young lady that took our order was pleasant,but I don't know if another woman was a manager or not but she was extremely loud our whole visit. She was constantly complaining and very unprofessional.
I got food poisoning, right after eating here. I spent all night vomiting this nasty food. To begin, they made my order incorrectly. The burger had mayo, and it felt warm and not hot, and the lettuce looked old. I probably should have eaten this after noticing this but I tried it. There were a lot of teens working the kitchen and none seemed to be wearing gloves.
Service was horrible. We waited 10 min in line. They completely ignored tge man in front of us and then he told the customer that he has 20 orders ahead of him (needless to say we all walked out.. associates had no sense of Urgency, did not wear gloves and tge manager ignored everyone.. what a waste of time.
Order a baconator combo. Large fries. They gave the wrong order. I got home and had a Dave's cheeseburger. Small fries. I tried to explain the order mistake to the cashier. It was as if they have no idea how to communicate with a grown up. Manager wasn't better. He was rushing around, definitely he was over his head with problems. That he couldn't stop and have a conversation with me. He was inundated by all the customers that were backed up. I just collected the order and went home after waiting nearly 30 minutes. Ain't coming back again
Had to wait a long time through the drive thru just for them to give me half my order and tell me it is all in the bag. Finally got my full order and went home to find out they put the wrong chicken patty on my number 10 combo. They put the spicy chicken patty instead of the grilled chicken. This Wendy's used to be spot on....
