Not my finest visit. I went thru the drive thru, ordered only a caramel frosty. I was told to drive up and I did just that. Waited for almost 10 mins and then went inside. I was told the machine had to be filled and it wasn't ready yet. I asked for a refund and they went to get the manager who said it would be about 10 mins before it would be ready. Waited another 4 mins to get my refund and left. In the 15 mins I wasted, I could have driven to a different Wendy's instead if they had told me they didn't have that item ready at the time.
11/17/24 @ 1:30pm. The cashier was nice. Nothing was stocked (napkins, utensils, straws etc.), nozzles on the drink machine weren't installed for anyone to refill their own drinks. A worker (woman) with red hair was beyond rude. Wouldn't say excuse me while walking through us or when my husband was walking in front of her and she was behind him bringing bags of food to someone in a car.
This location is so terrible it’s genuinely hilarious. The floor - wet. The carpet - wet. Fries were cold, the “saucy nuggets” were placed in “boxes” that did not shut securely so when my wife tried to mix the nuggets, the “lid” flew off and sauce went everywhere. Every time we’ve tried to order via door dash or in person, something is missing or incorrect, without exception. We dined in and boy oh boy was that a bad choice. The cashier (1 person) sat there for a good few moments in silence with his register before acknowledging signs of life. He was so stoned out of his mind we had to refrain from using compound sentences so as not to confound him. This is at least the third time we’ve had a cashier who was so high it genuinely took a long time to order two meals. No forks, no sauces, and we had to sit there and stare at our ready food while the person decided after 5 mins to make our drinks to go with it. It was a fiasco of epic proportions and we will be enjoying literally ANY other Wendy’s locations except this one.
So I used to come to this Wendy's because it was close by although the wait times are most times long and some of the employees stay being unprofessional with bad attitudes. I went on July 4th to pick up my mobile order. My sandwich is hot but my fries are ice cold and half full as you can see in the picture. I call at 2:33 p.m. and a man answers the phone. I tell him that my fries are and taste cold and old and are half full. He responds saying it's because they were delivered to me. I explained to him that I picked them up. So, his next excuse is that it's because I made a mobile order. I respond by saying my sandwich is very hot, so much that the half leaf of lettuce is wilting on the sandwich. I also explain that my fries were also half full. He then went on "explaining" that fries get colder faster and that "they couldn't have been old" because they make the fries fresh and they've been making small batches all day. I reiterate that in addition to those issues, the fries are half full. He starts "explaining" *again* that when you do a mobile order you pick it up etc. etc, (irrelevant excuses) thus "it couldn't have been old" and "it couldn't have been half full." He was just being very rude and combative. I just say that I don't have to lie. He's like "I didn't say you were lying about it. Don't do that! I can like remake the fries for you but it couldn't have been half full." Just completely unprofessional and with a nasty attitude.
Hands down the best Wendy's in North Carolina. I go every Monday night and I never get bad food. Even as it feels like the world is falling apart and we may be entering a new dark age this Wendy's holds the line banishing the darkness with the light of a perfectly crafted 6 piece.
I had an extremely troubling experience at this store. While I was trying to buy food for a homeless person, one of the workers named Chris confronted me aggressively. He threatened to shoot me if I didn’t leave the store. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. I’ve never felt so unsafe while simply trying to help someone in need. I will not be returning, and I urge others to be cautious.
Was waiting about 30 minutes because they are short staffed
But I want to acknowledge the guy with the glasses that was working at about 8:00 pm today he was under a lot of pressure and was messing up orders a bit , but his customer service never changed and he got our order together nicely!
Everyone’s not perfect and we understood that but I loved the fact that he remained calm and had excellent service
Food is terrible. Ordered a Baconator and the patties were dry and probably made the day before. Bun was dry and stale.. Worst Wendy’s in Raleigh….
