My husband and I went to Wendy's, in Pocatello, Idaho (929 Yellowstone), a little before 7:00 pm tonight. A manager was pulling a drawer from a cash register and never looked up or even acknowledge we were standing there. We stood there for several minutes and she never even looked our way. We were actually about to walk out when another employee finally came up and took our order. She didn't have much customer service either. I have been in customer service pretty much all of my adult life, from waitress to assistant manager. Believe me when I say there was absolutely no customer service here tonight. A young man behind the counter, getting orders together, had his hair down, hanging in his face and he was chewing on it. There were quite a few open tables and we had to hunt to find the least dirty one to sit at. Every garbage was overflowing. I am not one to look for things to leave a bad review about and I will most assuredly write a good one before I write a bad, but tonight was just not okay. The food was good, but they really need some help in the other department. I doubt that I will be back to that location. Luckily we have one in Chubbuck that I can stop in to when I feel like Wendy's!!
Literally all we ordered was a large frosty and French fry and the frosty came out completely melted and when we called to ask about it, the lady just said that’s just how the frosty machine is, you can come back and get another one and it might be like that but it might not. I then asked about just getting a refund seeing as how we couldn’t go back, and then she said we need to return with our receipt in order to get the refund. I told her we did not receive our receipt then she proceeds to pull up our order on her end and then tells us we still need to come back in in order to just get a refund…absolutely ridiculous
And maybe if your frosty machine isnt working properly let your customers know in advance… thanks
Loved our visit to Wendy’s to get some frosty’s!! Fox is the best worker and deserves a raise! It was very busy and he took our order and had our food out in a timely manner. This location was very clean and all the employees seem to work graciously and kindly.
So just to LET EVERYBODY KNOW There a lady on here by the name of Angela Mollet who decided to lie and make a false statement on a very hard worker Vanessa at Wendy’s in Pocatello . Vanessa never said this is Wendy’s not McDonalds so that’s a lie number 1 there . How dare she make false accusations on a very hard working employee who only takes orders and who doesn’t make the food . Ppl need to be more respectful to the ppl working in the fast food biz . She works very very hard and has never gotten one complaint. The only thing she has gotten was great service complaints from customers even theamagers . Including some customers willing to tip her for how great services she has done . I think Google needs to allow ppl to be able to correct KARENS who lie about ppl they have no clue about !!!
I ordered through Door Dash and it took 45 minutes to receive my food and I only live 1.3 miles from Wendy’s. When my food arrived my seasoned potatoes were cold, I had to reheat them n the microwave, they gave me 9 packets of ketchup in the bag, and I was not impressed with the size of the bacon ???? egg ???? and cheese biscuit and it cost almost $15! That’s outrageous! The receipt attached to the bag said $6 something!. Why did they give me so much ketchup? Isn’t there and quantity control? I have worked at many restaurants in my day all I can think of is the employees that bagged up my order weren’t paying attention so they grabbed a handful of ketchup packets. That’s so sad ????. Someone clearly dropped the ball here!
I went inside to order and Vanessa took what I thought was my correct order, I told her I wanted 3 frosties, and she only put 1 in with 2 regular drinks, I ordered a baconator, double baconator, and a cheeseburger. I got 2 cheeseburgers and 1regular baconator, was charged for what I ordered and she said I must be mistaking Wendy's for McDonald's...
I'm so furious with the service recieved and being treated like a 2 year old.
Just beware, if you have Vanessa, run the other way!!!!!
We very seldom eat at Pocatello’s Wendy’s it’s never a good experience this time are Burgers were dry. The wife’s was more like jerky. Are drinks had no ice in them and the nuggets were old. I gave it two stars because are fry’s were hot and fresh. I would recommend the Wendy’s in Chubbuck it is worth the extra 10 minute drive I guess I just have to remind myself every few months how bad the food is at the Pocatello store.
This Wendy’s has declined a lot over the last couple years. Today we went in to find a dirty lobby without any clean tables. The pop machines both had no ice and the service was slow. Our burgers were cold and I found a bone in my nugget…Won’t be back anytime soon
