I ordered on the mobile app I am leaving a review from my husband‘s account because I’m really that pissed off. I ordered it on the mobile app for drive-through pick up like I usually do because I am pregnant and huge. I just wanna go ahead and get food at the window and go on about my day. Not only do I get to the drive-through And I’m told to come inside to pick up my order even though it instruct me to go through the drive-through per their GM, I go walk around on the Sidewalk and doors are locked. So I go wobble my big self back and get back in my car, And go through the drive-through again just to find out that the entrance is in the middle of the drive-through and even though my app says pick up in drive through their GM said it doesn’t matter they can’t hand me my order through the window, which is CRAZY bcuz I am not Uber eats or doordyas I’m a mobile app paying customer instructed to go pick up at the drive thru window. So now I gotta wait for the car in front of me to get out of my way so I can go again and wobble through the middle of the drive-through and not get ran over to go inside and get my order. Walk up to the counter I’m not there fixing food. They don’t say maam hold on. They don’t say I’ll be right with you. They were just talking to each other and working. So I go and start checking our orders to find out which one is mine and find out that one of them is mine and there’s only one drink when I ordered four meals. I let them know. I’m missing three drinks and strawberry lemonade is ready. I have to make the other three drinks from my order that should’ve been made. I Go ahead to the drink area, make my drinks and have ants crawling all around my cups and then as I’m on my way out I get a drink carrier and leave. I’m annoyed bcuz I just got back from church standing n singing n clapping n my pregnant self is tired and I have to play ring around the Wendy’s to find the entrance with dry customer service. And I’m writing to corporate bcuz after working two hospitality jobs, there’s no way this service is good and then didn’t even have all my silverware for my bbq nuggets. I’m really annoyed as I love Wendy’s but I’m definitely going to let corporate know they have some kitchen and service issues that need to be explored.
This was the last Wendys in Lake Charles that I thought actually cared. Had to pull up because they had to cook my spicy chicken sandwich. After several minutes of waiting for our order and getting home, open it to find it was dressed like a burger with cheese, pickles, ketchup and mustard. Totally not even edible. I mean, take a look at the picture! I tried to call 3 times and the phone just rang.
Horrible Gabe me cold 20 piece nuggets said I had to buy two ten piece to make 20 so I did with a shake and it was cold
My family and I stopped here while traveling. The food was thrown together, cold and the lift was wrong after waiting 10 minutes. It then took another 30 minutes just to get a refund because the "mgr" didn't know how to process the refund. Absolutely ridiculous service.
I’ve been coming to Lake Charles ever since I was a little girl and now I live here but I have ALWAYS called this Wendy’s “the bad Wendy’s”. I ordered food but it took 45 mins for them to make 2 crispy chicken sandwiches… TWO!! I canceled the order because that was ridiculous. They need new staff and new management or just shut the whole place down because I think this town would be better off without that Wendy’s.
If this is the one downtown, is hidden but the welcoming feeling of being downtown Lake Charles & presence of the historical areas even the now demolished Capital One building. This Wendy’s has very positive workers and always polite and helpful!
Spent half the night with my 26 k siblings, watching this beautiful place be attacked by our mother, (Laura) when our father, (Reed) left us and didn’t come back for 2 hours! Will forever love this Wendy’s and hope to visit someday! Please do not turn on your wipers in the drive thru, a lot of us have ptsd from dads wipers. I’ll be right back...
This review is for my drive thru experience only. The Drive thru wait was terrible. It was a 5 minutes wait to place my order and a total of 15 minutes before we got food. If you decide to go through the drive thru you better be patient because once you are in you can not get out of line, theres no where to go.
