This place is pathetic. Just placed an online order and went to pick it up at 8:20pm, well before closing hours. However, when we got there, the staff said they were closed and would not refund our money. They offered no explanation, no effort to fix the situation, and simply locked the drive through window with us waiting for them to do or say something. Extremely unfriendly to say the least. It is mind boggling that they would close the kitchen and still take orders and then do nothing to fix the issue. We have had problems with this place before giving us the wrong order and then blaming us. It is the WORST fast food restaurant in Madison and the WORST Wendy's I have ever been to. They are chronically short staffed. I can't wait for it to close and a competent, reliable restaurant takes its place. Avoid at all cost.
Drive through line was backed up to the street and not moving so i went inside to order. I waited behind a couple for about 5 minutes and no one even acknowledged they were standing there. They asked the people behind that had ordered and we're waiting on food how long they'd been there and they all said too long. So the couple left never having been allowed l acknowledged. I then waited an additional 3-5 minutes and was never acknowledged so i also left. Workers need better training. Very unprofessional. This location has always had issues I've just never posted a review until now. It was a long time coming.
I ordered through the app. Drove up no one replies. OK pull up to window. Staff member says they're not open. I replied I ordered through the app and it says you're open so it took my money. Gets the manager. Manager says they're not open yet because they're short staffed. That's fine I managed restaurants so I get it. Was OK with a refund. Then she said pull up will bring your food. Get home the sausage biscuit is impossible to eat. It's been microwave to death. It's hard and like rubber and sausage is dry and the cheese looks like cheese sauce. I told the manager I was fine with and understood, wasn't mad and this is what I'm given.. I will never eat at that location again. Oddly last time I was at thar location the say staff member lied to me about no longer serving the sauced nuggets which I was just asking if they still had them and wasn't trying to order them. That location seems to have issues as my sister says they get her orders wrong a lot so drives across the highway to McDonald's instead. Horrible service given I wasn't mad or demanding food. Wanted the refund so I could just go home. Do with that what you will but my family won't go to thar location anymore
The customer service when handling incorrect orders is a major inconvenience. I received the wrong order and was told my name was noted to fix it when I return. When I returned with my receipt and gave my name, the shift leader made me wait while making phone calls, only to still get my order wrong! I asked for Spicy Ghost Pepper but got BBQ instead. If she had just listened to me, this could have been avoided. 0/10 - I won't be returning to this location, except perhaps during the daytime, but no time soon that’s for sure.
I went through the drive thru & ordered a 10 piece nugget combo and they didn’t even put my nuggets in the bag. It seemed as if they were rushing me out of the drive thru without double checking my bags.
Why is the Wendy s resturant close at 9:45 on a Friday night with a home game at St Joe. The location at colony crossing. Really what a horrible business decision!!!!!!!!
Sad it's 8:36pm and the doors are locked! We drive truck so can't go thru drive thru. Oh well we can take our business elsewhere and will let others know!
Worst run Wendy’s in America. IF they’re open, it’s the slowest experience you’ll ever have. And they will forget items you ordered. Guaranteed.
