Best WLM Reviews

The food seem to be hot and fresh from the bag. I ordered through the drive-through and unfortunately didn't receive all of the items that I had ordered so I had to call. They were happy to make remake the order again but unfortunately, I already had to travel this distance twice so at this point didn't want the food anymore, and just wanted a refund the manager was compliant and gave me a refund. Would definitely recommend on having better service skills and check for accuracy in the bag. I know this is the number one complaint across all fast food places but it's such an easy fix. Please read your tickets and check for accuracy.
I don’t often write reviews, but after my disastrous visit to the Wendy's on Broadway in Salem NH, I felt compelled to warn others. This place was a complete mess from start to finish, and I won’t be coming back anytime soon. Here’s why
1. Service: The Worst Customer Service I've Ever Experienced
I walked in around lunchtime, and there were only two people ahead of me in line. Despite this, it took nearly 15 minutes for me to get to the counter. The employees were moving at a glacial pace, and no one seemed to care. One of the workers was on their phone in the back, and another was joking around with a coworker, completely ignoring the growing line of customers. When I finally made it to the counter, the employee behind it was unenthusiastic and borderline rude. She didn’t greet me, barely made eye contact, and didn’t even ask if I wanted to "add fries or a drink." I had to repeat my order three times because she kept getting it wrong, and when I mentioned a special request (no onions), I was met with a blank stare.
2. Cleanliness: Filthy Doesn’t Even Begin to Cover It
When I sat down, I immediately noticed that the entire dining area looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. The tables were sticky and covered in crumbs, and there were ketchup stains on the floor and chairs. I could hear the sound of a loud fan running from the kitchen, but when I looked over, I saw the workers using it as an excuse to avoid cleaning anything. The trash bins were overflowing, and there was a strong, unpleasant odor in the air that made eating there even more unbearable. How do you run a fast food restaurant and allow your dining area to look this gross?
3. Food Quality: Cold, Stale, and Not What I Ordered
When my meal finally arrived—after an excruciating 20-minute wait—the food was barely lukewarm. I ordered a Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, and when I took the first bite, it was clear the meat had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. The bacon was rubbery and chewy, and the lettuce was wilted and brown around the edges. The fries were soggy and limp—definitely not the crispy, golden fries I’ve come to expect from Wendy’s. To make matters worse, they completely messed up my order! I asked for a side salad, but they gave me a small order of fries (which I didn’t want) and left off the sauce I had asked for. When I brought it up to the counter, the employee seemed completely uninterested and offered no apology.
4. Wait Time: Unacceptable
I get that fast food places can get busy, but the wait time at this Wendy’s was ridiculous. There were only about 5 people in front of me, and yet it took over 30 minutes for my meal to arrive. I’m all for giving employees time to prepare food correctly, but this was absurd. I saw several other customers get frustrated and leave, and I honestly wish I had done the same.
5. Overall Experience: A Complete Letdown
This visit was beyond disappointing. Poor service, unsanitary conditions, and subpar food left me wishing I had gone anywhere else. I’ve had better experiences at drive-thrus that were half as busy as this location, and I’ve had better-tasting food from much smaller chains.
At the end of the day, a fast food restaurant is supposed to be quick, affordable, and easy. This Wendy's failed on all three counts. I left feeling unsatisfied, frustrated, and genuinely grossed out.
If you’re thinking about visiting this location, do yourself a favor and skip it. There are plenty of other fast food places nearby that will treat you with more respect and serve you fresher, hotter food. I’ll never be coming back here again.
This is Jordan Thomas Cruz, signing out!
This Wendy's is horrible. Every time I go there and get to go, there is always something missing in my order. If you go later in day there are no English speaking employees. How do you run this place in a primary English speaking country but employees can't take care of English speaking customers? From what I can see, this manager does not hire white people and there have been several who went for an interview and they send them away with some excuse the manager is busy! (Came from a friend who watched this from the lobby). I am not being racist as it sounds but I am being truthful. How can I place an order if they don't speak English?????I feel this manager needs to be looked into. On another note, mornings I've gone in place looks nice and clean. Custodian does a fantastic job! Night time the place is a disaster.
A fast food restaurant that has I think the best chili ever. Add the cheese and saltine crackers and you have a masterpiece. When I arrived it was pretty busy there was about 6 cars in the drive thru lane. The only negative thing about here and was taken a little back was how dirty the inside looked as I entered the facility. There were about 8 people eating inside the restaurant. When I approached the counter to order my food I was greeted with a very friendly and smiley woman who loves her job. I then ordered a large chili with cheese and the Baconator. Wait time to get the my food was very quick. Let’s just say the pictures I added of my order was just D-I-V-I-N-E……the Baconator was to die for and I couldn’t give it enough kudos with loads of bacon and two huge burgers with plenty of cheese. The Chili is just WOW…AMAZING. Highly recommended.
Food is awful. Not worth the price. Says on the wall inside that food is fresh… Nope!
The night people are amazing, quick and polite, the morning people are terrible, I watched the cook make my hash browns and then put them down, take a whole order and make it for drive thru while I stood there. Asked her to pass me my potatoes as I only had one thing, she looked right at me and ignored me. So rude and unnecessary ???? no one was in the drive thru when I came inside and ordered
Update: thank you free breakfast today definitely made up for the trouble. I go here almost every morning !
Is it because you were just closing when my husband made it there? I wanted a grilled chicken sandwich combo meal with honey mustard and a frosty.
I got a cold grilled chicken ranch wrap, no honey mustard.
How’s a wrap a chicken sandwich?
Can’t you people grow up and do your job!!
Seams like a lot of people are complaining about this Salem store. Oh why was Romanos closed and down for maintenance that day
I threw it away wasting $20. It’s so gross and not even what I ordered.
Used drive-through here at my son's request. Just some fries and a chocolate frosty. I guess it was fine, according to him, but the wait was too long for fast food (2 easy items) IMO. He said it happens all the time. And no, there were no other cars ahead of us .
