Viejas it's very nice to stay in and have fun at their casino, or a concert or just to have a drink and listen to live music on a weekend. Service is great, food is delicious and the hotel is deluxe so it's the pool and all amenities. So don't give it any second thoughts just do it!!! Have fun!
I love going to Viejas and I must say that the valet service is wonderful ????❤️ To me, it's important when the staff takes the time to learn my name, and they have learned it! They are so welcoming, too!!! Now the casino, I have a good time and other times, my money goes quickly. I call it making a deposit! But I do have my lucky days. Just waiting on big one!!! Good time, overall. I bring friends and family, and they enjoy it ❤️
As far as casino gambling, its one of the better options in San Diego county. Late night and early morning weekdays there are more security guards walking than people gambling, so no worries about safety. Its the player service staff that makes my time fun, plus the food is good, and its easy to drive to (right off the I-8)
Listen up Viejas Tribe- Ive had many hosts, my current host Johanna is a wonderful host, very responsive to my needs, professional, a natural to be senior executive player development host. She does her job well and knows how to retain players, keep us happily gambling and enjoying ourselves. Just wanted to give her kudos,

The hotel is really nice and the price reflects this.
The Bingo is why we go, and it is getting harder and harder to find a seat!
It is supposed to be "first come, first served" which is fair. Bingo starts at 5:30, so we get there at 3:30 to find a seat.
Someone keeps "reserving" seats, with no buy-in receipt.
The manager just brushes this off, but it is annoying to get there so early and still have to hunt for a seat, and know, that it is the same guy who "reserves" all the good seats for his friends who often do not show up.
Don't expect the Bingo Manager to care.
But shout out to Adam and to Hannah. They are GREAT!
Enjoyable time. Great game selection. Attentive staff. The only thing I found odd was there strange craps rules where you roll dice and they have cards that dictate and change the outcome of the roll... I understand in California you can't have dice games but it was extremely hard to win anything..
Just went to play the slots a bit and to enjoy a drink or two. We sat at the bar counter and played the slots while having a drink. Convenient!!
We didn't order any food, but I could see others eating some tasty looking things.
It was fun. Not rushed.
Looking forward to going back.
We went mainly to the outlet stores. I enjoyed being with my family going to Coach, Famous Footwear and a Candy Shop. Service was great except for the Candy Shop. The young lady who helped us looked at me, as if challenging me with a little head Bob, saying "yes" - as if I was a burden. I should've walked out and not spent $$ there but my daughters were with me and I didn't want to ruin my time with them! I won't go back the chocolate wasn't that good & uneventful. Chocolatier needs more practice!! I've had way better chocolate & service elsewhere for the same amount of $$ and even less $$. Like I said, I just won't go back to that Candy Shop.
The Casino is beautiful inside. Lots of people. I played a little but the games weren't being kind so I stopped playing. Maybe next time! They had a band singing live music but no dance floor. There were plenty of bathrooms as well. They had a nice & long beverage area for self-serve sodas & coffee/cocoa and a very long & clean bar. I didn't go exploring as I didn't stay long enough to walk around. Good vibe.
Love this casino and hotel
We had a fabulous time! We went the Grove steak house for dinner and the food was great however our server was terrible! She acted like we were bothering her which I didn’t appreciate! Also we were celebrating an anniversary and she did nothing for us or acknowledged it, But the server assistant Alex was awesome! Wish we could have tipped him instead!
We will be coming back for another staycation regardless but paying $$$$
We should have better service
