Best WLM Reviews

My friends wanted to come here and we were not disappointed. The turkey legs are so tender they fall off the bone ????. They have so many different flavors and variations of the turkey leg is prepared. You definitely have to go more than once to try everything.
One seven letter word to describe the food at this restaurant, AMAZING! We were visiting from NYC and had to stop here before flying back home. Oh my goodness, this place did not disappoint! We all are taking food back home with us. I absolutely love this restaurant and wish there was a location in NYC. Thank you for an amazing experience for our first time visiting Houston.
A group of us went to Turkey Leg for lunch shortly after arriving in Houston. We sat outside, which is perfect when the weather is nice. The only issue we ran into here was with flies.
Food wise, everything was great and the portions were fairly large. Additionally, we all had drinks, which were good as well. They have a pretty cool drink menu. No complaints here. The servers were friendly as well.
Atmosphere wise, it was pretty laid back. There was a DJ playing music which, for an outdoor setting, was fine. You could still hear everyone talking with the music going.
10/10 would recommend.
BRING YOUR FLY SWATTER....Let me apologize for the lengthy review this will be ahead of time..First upon arriving at the establishment the line started outside 443pm no one was at the podium to greet us. Us and others stood in line waiting patiently for about 20 mins while workers kept running in and out without anyone acknowledging the forming line of customers. They seemed to be having some confusion between workers going on. We all waited until a man came out Aggressively yelling ‘if reservations stand here and if not the line starts at the end of the people on the benches” (the people on the benches had arrived after everyone that was standing at that podium, which he failed to even ask and clearly didn't care). We were going to leave but I had traveled from AZ and really wanted to try it so we went back about 507pm we reappeared got to the back of the line about now its 525pm was seated on the patio at 545pm food came out fast by 6pm and 614pm we were back in the car. The patio was not up to par to serve customers due to the flies swarming all over the patio, which apparently they were aware of due to the Roundup pump sitting on the patio. Looks like someone tried to spray so they were very much aware of this infestation of flies on their Patio. No one was able to eat or drink their drinks (we had to put napkins over our drinks leaving the straw part out) without swatting the flies. We attempted to take bites of our food and quickly cover our food back up with togo boxes that we got from the hostess(in the pic) that seated us, who continuously came over to ask if we wanted to go inside due to the overbearing flies(seen in my food in the pics), which we mentioned three times about going inside to her and she claimed she was going to check inside for space and then she asked us the 4th time did we tell our server, ma’am what did you go check then… Our server Spree and the bus boy were waving off the flies of the food she was delivering to the other party that sat on the patio. We asked for the check and left. It was a horrible experience for us and the place is truly way over hyped. The food was nicely flavored (but nothing you wouldn't be able to find somewhere else), definitely was not worth the travel time out of state for. Parking is charged in every lot nearby and limited if not paying. The rudeness from the man initially, the place being unorganized and having a fly infestation. I will never be back and wouldn’t recommend anyone trying. It’s many other places to explore and spend money while being able to enjoy and experience.
Went midday and got the Seafood Alfredo Florentine leg. Sat at the bar and the service was on point. Friendly and attentive. I didn't like having to pay $10 to park because the front is coned off for celebs I guess but overall good experience.
Nestled in the heart of Houston, The Turkey Leg Hut is an absolute gem for both meat lovers and those who typically sway towards lighter fare. As someone who doesn’t typically gravitate towards meat-heavy dishes, I was pleasantly surprised by the culinary delight that this establishment offers.
The star attraction, as the name suggests, is the turkey leg. These are not your average turkey legs – they are elevated to a whole new level with a fusion of flavors that tantalize the taste buds. The creole spices used here are a game changer, offering a perfect blend of heat, aroma, and depth that infuses each bite with an unforgettable taste. It’s a bold flavor that resonates with the soul of Houston’s diverse culinary landscape.
But the Turkey Leg Hut is more than just its namesake. The ambiance is welcoming and vibrant, mirroring the lively spirit of Houston itself. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish.
The sides are thoughtfully prepared and are a great complement to the main dishes. Each dish is cooked to perfection, showcasing the quality of ingredients and the skill of the chefs.
The Turkey Leg Hut is a must-visit spot in Houston. Whether you’re a meat enthusiast or someone who appreciates well-seasoned, flavorful dishes, this place will not disappoint. It’s a culinary experience that beautifully represents the melting pot of flavors that Houston is renowned for. Highly recommended!
The food was amazing! It just took too long for service. I think we waited 2 hours before the food came out and it was luke warm. But that pulled Turkey! Oi! It was amazing! My suggestion, don’t go at night or on the weekend if you don’t want to wait.
I ordered glazed turkey leg with BBQ sauce. The meat is soft & flavourful with their signature BBQ sauce with a hint of spiciness, simply delicious. Boudin balls consist of rice, pork, cheese very tasty too.
