I stayed on a Friday, Saturday and checked out Sunday. It's a older place, but well taken care of. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was neat and clean
I was there for a reunion of my old army unit and we used the Coronado room. Great setup and the bartenders and staff really helpful and courteous.
Would definitely recommend.
Carpet was filthy and worn. Sink didn’t drain well. Tub/shower is small with cheap shower head and there is a short toilet. Air conditioner made a constant high pitch sound. We were expecting a certain level of quality and didn’t find it here. On a positive note the bed was comfortable. Service at The Brew Brothers was extremely slow. It was not busy and it felt as if we were being ignored and we were at the bar. Breakfast at Carnegie’s Cafe was very good. They needed more staff as it took awhile to be seated and then waiting for order to be taken and it wasn’t busy. Also would avoid this place if cigarette smoke bothers you. Bar and cafe open to casino smoke. Tangos Lounge and pool bar was closed.
Stayed here on a Charter from Madison. Food was average at best, and after 3 nights in the casino we never saw anyone receiving a hand pay. The room was very dated and needed work. Smoke alarm goes off if the steam from the shower gets out of the bathroom. There were 4 elevators but only 1 would work at a time. Laughlin has nothing to offer in the off season. I'll never visit again.
Positive: Getting the type of room that I requested was no problem. Negative: Getting a refrigerator for my insulin should have been included since it is an amenity, but they wanted to charge extra. Eventually, the manager waived the fee. Then it took over an hour to get it in the room. The staff is not very friendly at all.
Wife and I went for our anniversary at the end of July this year. Too start with the front desk staff at check in definitely didn't want to be there. The room was very dated and could have been cleaner. The breakfast at carnegie's was good, the servers there where exceptional. The coffee shop was very good with fresh coffee and prompt service. The gaming has definitely changed here as there used to be a lot more game king games. The wife and I chose other casinos to play at this time. Tropicana was our go to place not long ago.
The rooms are average. No frig, safe or microwaves in room. There are a decent number of restaurants. Nice arcade area for the kids. Smaller casino with a fair number of games available. When we checked in it was very quick and easy. One valet person on staff with bell service available.
Horrible experience from the minute we walked in. They had 2 front desk clerks working to check in a line of people out the door at 3:30 p.m. The only decent bar/restaurant doesn't open until 4 p.m. - on a Saturday! BUT you can eat and watch the game at one of the casino bars - where you'll pay $19 and some change for 2 bottles of Michelob Ultra. The only restaurant that serves breakfast told us there would be a 30-min wait when there were plenty of open tables (and she clearly did not want to be there). Dinner at the Brewery was good, but if you order 2 double tall drinks, the cost will be $72.00, yep, you read that right. Is this price-gouging for the concert or ?? But I saved the best (or, the worst) for last ... the room was filthy, disgusting and nasty (see attached pics) ... and WAY over priced. Even the bathroom sink was clogged. No housekeeping came. Was hard to sleep comfortably there given how gross it was. Plus the mattress was a cheap, garage sale quality. TIPS: we stayed at the Aquarius a few months prior and it was head and shoulders above this place, stay there and save your money!! Also, for casino/bar drinks - buy your beers a the "Essentials" store for a third of the cost, and you can carry them around everywhere, much cheaper! Wish we'd known that sooner! :)
UPDATE: In response to the "response from owner", considering you leave the exact same response to every bad review, my thinking is, you really don't care, why should I follow up and waste more time when we will never be back. If you cared, the rooms where paying guests stay would not look like the pictures I have attached. Thank you!
Myself and my family stayed 3 days. The hot water took forever to hot in order for it to get hit we had to turn on the bathroom faucet that’s how it got hot, the next day the the entire boiler went out and they had to shut the water off the whole day and some of the next day. Even tho we had Comp rooms and should have no complaints but that what keep people coming back is the experience and comp rooms or not I will not be staying there anymore.
