OMG.....I missed my exit for this restaurant and yep, I had to backtrack for this unique eatery. 1970's look and atmosphere in this popular place.
The staff is cheerful and friendly and Kara my waitress is wearing bacon ???? and ???? earrings. So cute girl!
I ordered the BLT of course. I just had to try this iconic sandwich with one (1 lb) of bacon on it.
Let me just say, that I was not disappointed at all. As Kara was setting the plate down I was just dead staring at all the wonderful bacon sandwiches overcome with bacon. Heaps of one of my favorite foods. I couldn't wait to take a bite. Oh nooooo.....but wait how to bite into this mammoth mouth-watering ???? feast!
Yep, with a big old steak knife.???? First I started eating all the pieces that fell out of the sandwich while I was cutting it. So much bacon. This is definitely more than one pound of bacon and I love it ????
The bacon is so thick and easy to chew. What a great flavor and the bread was homemade. Deliciously satisfying to the taste buds. ????
I can't wait to go back to Tony's and try another great dish!
Don't forget to say hello to Kara!!
I ordered a farmer's omelette this afternoon at Tony's on i-75 and Birch run The Omelette was thrown together it only was spoke to have the omelette tons of hash browns pieces of ham that looked like it was dumped on the omelette and had to add mushrooms they don't have green peppers or anything else and the cheese is nasty and junk this is the worst food I've ever ate at a Tony's restaurant here are my pictures for proof somebody needs to correct them on what an actual Farmers omelet looks like or go to the Tony's restaurant at fashion square in Saginaw Michigan and it is the best omelet you could ever ask for as far as the farmers I want it has green peppers mushrooms that you don't have to ask for and pay extra for good cheese good hash browns lot of him lots of ham just perfect all together and is not definitely just throwing together like this mess and a lot cheaper $3 to be exact cheaper and the best on what you could ever ask for so if you want my opinion I would say do not go to this Tony's restaurant on i-75 in Birch run you definitely will regret going worst tasting food ever. They will never receive my business again.
Don't let the wait fool you...you are seated almost immediately.
The BLT, calamari basket, omelet, roast beef/pastrami sandwich....good portion size. We had leftover bacon for breakfast the next day. My sister was eating that meat sandwich for two more days. The clam chowder (new to the menu)....not worth it.
All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The bathrooms...a little risky with the floors and latches; take a friend.
Once again- Outstanding!
Awkwardly enough, after breakfast omelettes, my husband needed more????
Thank you!!!
(Here's our last photos haha)
The food here was amazing. Chicken Parmesan was so good and big enough 42 people. The bacon and cheese fries were awesome with big strips of bacon on it.
Incredible one of a kind no other restaurants do what Tony's does!! Food is delicious, quantities are unheard of... attitudes and friendliness second to none ... they obviously value their customers and word of mouth ... which is how we heard about them. You must experience to truly understand... oh, and by the way, if you love bacon!!! ???? ????... the BLT will amaze... but as I'm eating that, I'm seeing what other customers ordered and now we have to come back at least 5 or 6 times just to order the amazing other meals walked by our table to other lucky customers. I only send ratings when a business is above and beyond what is expected or normal... and Tony's is now a destination worthy of travel for us... since we live over an hour away ????
Prices and food were okay. Wait staff was very nice. If you like big potions, it’s your place. But honestly, that was one of the dirtiest places I’ve ever been in, let alone ate. Ceilings, floors and bathrooms were so bad, I don’t know how the place has high reviews. I had the runs immediately after leaving. Just clean this place up. It has so many people who love it. Can’t tell if the food made me sick or just the mold smell.
The first time you lay eyes on the BLT, it's WOW! Look at that ???? bacon! Piled high and done to perfection...oh and there was toast, tomato, and lettuce. I split it with the big guy, and we brought home some bacon ???? ???? . Onion rings were good, too.
