I finally got to visit the famous creamery and it lived up to the hype and then some. This is a very fascinating view into the production of the dairy products we love so much from a very beautiful part of the world (Oregon Coast). The peek into the factory, numerous restaurants as well as free samples and just cheese everything makes this a must visit for cheese lovers!
Super cool to see where the Tillamook products come from!! They gave out free samples of different cheeses. The food was pretty good for the most part.. loved everything except the Mac n cheese. Ice cream was amazing as expected!! Personal favorite meal was the bison burger!
The free tour is very worth a stop, but paying for the cheese or ice cream tasting is well worth it. There are lots of displays and viewing windows that cover the whole process. Be sure to save some time and money for the store and/or restaurants. The store has products you won't find in your local grocery store.
Fun place to learn all about cheese and the cows it comes from. They make it convenient to eat, shop and learn.
The prices can be a bit much for some of the souvenirs.
Ice cream is outstanding. I had the Oregon cherry and it was so incredibly creamy. The employees we came into contact with were all very nice.
So much fun to visit! We underestimated how busy it would be so plan on lots of time to stand in line to order ice cream and food. We eventually abandoned the food line because it was taking too long.
The cheese tasting was great! And the Ice Cream tasting was even better!!!
The facilities were amazing to tour. The free cheese samples were delicious, and the ice cream was awesome. (I got the flight!) Only con was how crowded it was, which just speaks to how cool a place it is to visit lol. Such a fun trip with friends! Can't wait to visit again with a cute date.
I’m a huge fan of Tillamook cheeses, so visiting their factory while in Oregon was a must! The tour was fantastic, getting a behind-the-scenes look at the cheese-making process was fascinating, and we even got to sample some freshly made cheeses. After the tour, we weren’t quite hungry, so we opted for the ice cream instead, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the whole experience was wonderful. From the tour to the tastings, everything was top-notch! Had such a great time exploring and enjoying all the treats!
If you like cheese, this is the best place on earth. Food is amazing, ice cream is amazing, staff is amazing, and the best part is all the cheese they have!! Cheese half as old as me!! Hickory Smoked! Infused with garlic! Check this place out fr, go outta your way for this place, make this place your Mecca.
