Best WLM Reviews

I recently visited Tillamook Creamery for the first time since the early 2000s during a family road trip. The experience brought back fond childhood memories, though it also presented some new challenges and delights.
The first hurdle was the parking. Given how busy the Creamery was, finding a spot was a bit of a challenge. However, after a short wait, we managed to secure a spot and headed inside.
The Creamery is split into two main levels. The lower level houses their retail shop, ice cream counter, and food court. The upper level offers a fascinating view of the factory operations, engaging activities for kids, and, of course, free cheese samples.
The lines were long, a testament to the Creamery's popularity. My wife and I decided to divide and conquer: she joined the queue for food while I stood in the nearly-out-the-door line for ice cream. Despite the length, the ice cream line moved surprisingly quickly, and we were through in about 20 minutes.
The ice cream selection was impressive, with plenty of delicious flavors to choose from. For lunch, my wife ordered burgers, cheese curds, fries, and mac n' cheese for the kids. The burgers were good—not the best we’ve ever had, but satisfying. The highlight of the meal was the cheese curds with an incredible dipping sauce that I couldn't get enough of.
The Tillamook Creamery offers a fun and nostalgic experience with a few modern twists. Despite the initial parking inconvenience and long lines, the quality of the food and the overall atmosphere made it worth the wait. The ice cream alone is worth a visit, and the cheese samples and factory tour add to the charm.
Tips for Future Visitors
1. Be prepared for busy parking and long lines, especially during peak times.
2. Divide and conquer if you're with a group—have someone get in the food line while another grabs ice cream.
3. Don’t miss the dipping sauce with the cheese curds!
Such a cool place to see. Started out getting some AMAZING food. I got an order of cheese curds (to share) and a cheese burger with fries (not sharing ????). After the lunch we went to the upstairs tour area for a self guided tour. Very neat to see the workings of how the cheese is made and packaged. After that we went through the store (wish we had an ice chest with us!), and then got an ice cream flight of 3 different scoops (store and ice cream flight not pictured). I would definitely come back here again!!
Well worth the drive from Portland. The self guided tour was easy to follow and we got to try the different kinds of cheese made at the facility. The kids enjoyed the factory and we ended the day with some scrumptious Mac and cheese and finger licking good ice cream.
I absolutely love this place. I don't get down here very often but it's a pleasure to visit. You can view the factory and cheese packaging. Check out my pics and videos. They have ice cream, cheese food and all types of other stuff. Love it. It's a must visit.

And the staff’s dedication adds an extra layer of delight, ensuring every visit is unforgettable. Whether you’re a cheese aficionado or simply craving divine dairy delights, Tillamook Creamery promises an experience like no other.
So many souvenirs in the gift shops.
I recently went to the Tillamook Creamery and was so surprised by how awesome this place was! The building you go into is a really modern looking structure with a super cute cow mural on the front. This place is by itself but looks like it would be right at home in some swanky downtown area. When you get in you can go straight up the stairs to do the self guided tour or you can visit the gift shop or food court. They make it really easy to get around and see everything you want without much hassle. My husband and I went on a Friday morning so there were barely any lines for the food court and when we did our self guided tour there was no one else there with us. It was cool being able to take our time at each station and watch the process of how they make and package their cheese. There were also a few free cheese samples to pick up after your tour. We ate in the food court and the hamburger we got was delicious. They also had a decent beer selection. We got some ice cream after lunch which was, of course, excellent. The gift shop is full of fun memorabilia to purchase and a bunch of different food items as well. My husband and I spent WAY too much money buying gifts for family and stuff for us. I have heard from friends that Tillamook can be packed so I would recommend going during the week if you can. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend going to this factory if you are in the area.
Referred here and well worth the drive, tons of free parking available, self guided tour of the actual operations of the real factory. So we’ll put together, very clean, free samples available. There is a store with food and souvenirs, which were very expensive. And there is a restaurant that had so many options, pricey but delicious, also an ice cream store with huge servings. Highly recommend and would return.
The visit to the factory was an unforgettable experience. It was very interesting to observe the cheese production processes. After the tour, you should definitely try different types of cheese. Make sure to visit the cafeteria on the first floor. I highly recommend trying the fried cheese curds! We went on Wednesday and it was really crowded. I can imagine that it's so busy over there on the weekend.
