Me being new to the tables I won't specify the game and while enjoying myself I received nothing but good vibes from all of the staff members and I appreciate their patience with me! Visiting Thunder Valley Casino was an awesome experience either win or lose. Only critique..... source a better orange juice please.
As far as casino hotels go, this is one of the better ones. Rooms are nice and well maintained. Food is acceptable casino food, would not go out of the way to have it, but it will do the trick so long as you avoid the Red Lantern - extremely rude service unless you are a large group. They ignore smaller tables.
Good vent for seeing a show.
This is the most comfortable hotel room I have ever stayed at. The bed, and especially the pillows were fantastic, unlike other hotels. I also liked the lounge chair in the room which was very comfortable as well. There was also many features included: mini fridge, safe, coffee pot. For the ladies there is a nice make up mirror.||There was also both a separate tub as well as a huge shower! There’s also a bathroom scale to see how many pounds you gained after eating all the great food! ||I was also surprised the Buffet was back open. The Thunder Cafe was closed for maintenance, so apparently the Buffet is only open temporarily. They should keep it open in my opinion.||I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t use the steam room & sauna, but it was a holiday and it was filled up. It would be nice if the spa was open until 10:00 pm or so, as it closes at 8:00 pm.||The players club is great too, lots of benefits including free gifts, free slot play, and discounts in restaurants. ||I will definitely come back again soon.
A bit out of the way, however ample parking lot and garage. The venue is a decent, small indoor theater with good sound production. Plenty of bars but would have loved to see : larger fountain drink sizes or a switch to bottles for the DDs or non-drinkers in attendance.
The casino itself is your typical casino - plenty loud, smoke-filled and tight quarters to walk through. Never saw a cocktail server on the floor. Signage for directions throughout is only okay. Their solution to those wanting a less-secondhand smoke time was a small enclosed room with a few slots. This alone makes me care less for this establishment. The food court offerings could use improvement. The restaurants could also - overpriced for the quality.
Nice size room with a large bathroom. Plenty of storage for clothes. Excellent view of the valley from the bedroom window. Very clean and modern. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Hotel is centrally located to the casino area. A bit pricey though.

I guess I just don't 'get' the whole casino thing... But we did have fun!
The room and service were great. The room and bathroom were very clean and smelled wonderful The bathroom smelled and looked clean. We ordered room service the attendant was very courteous and friendly. However our second night was a bit to be desired as we were awaken to loud partying guest at 2am. Front desk was contacted but unfortunately for us we couldn't go back to sleep.
Received an offer for a free concert go to click on the link within minutes of receiving the offer and it says no availability. Called the rewards center just to be told sorry nothing can be done but call a host. I called the host just to be told your not hosted with us and if you really want to go you can purchase a ticket. Absolute poor customer service.
