Very lively and walkable area in DC that’s right by the water! The boat parking is also very convenient because I actually arrived here by boat and I just hopped on to the dock. I enjoyed walking around and exploring the variety of shops here. Overall a cool place worth checking out in DC!
It's a lively area with a waterfront featuring numerous restaurants and shops. Strolling around the harbor and promenade is enjoyable in the morning, especially when it's not too crowded. It's conveniently located near tourist attractions, which makes it accessible. However, finding parking can be challenging, and the parking garage is quite expensive. The sunset is stunning, and the area has live music venues and a concert hall, making it a lively area year-round.
If I lived in DC, this would definitely be a place I would frequent. It was beautiful appointed, vast array of great dining venues and I love the option of the water taxi to Georgetown and National Harbor. Such stunning views and I felt at home here.
The Fresh Seafood Market at the end of The Wharf is definitely a must-visit! Where we had fresh oysters (3 for $6) and wish we had more!
Ate dinner with a group in an open air section of Hank's. Food was delicious. Drinks were great. However, it took a long time between appetizers and dinner order. Then 2 people's orders - the salad, did not come out with the rest of the entrees. Nice atmosphere with view of the waterfront.
Nice place to have food, drinks. Many places to choose from. Drivers there are crazy but overall a nice place to spend the afternoon/night. What can we expect, is DC. If you aren’t used to city life and drivers, this is r for you.
Prices are reasonable for most places there.
The Wharf DC is a wonderful spot for a stroll. With several patios available, it's easy to find a place to sit and enjoy the waterfront views. The area is lively, offering various dining options and a great atmosphere.
Nice place for a stroll. Very clean and not as crowded as similar places in other cities. There’s plenty of food options and a cool fish market. The 'Chopsmith' was great for breakfast! The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is nearby which makes for a fun, scenic walk.
Lush spot, posh boats, a fish market and loads of bars and restaurants. I slummed it at Gordon Ramsey's Chippy and it was great and the service also very good. Prefer Ginos pizza though ????????
