Stayed here for a quick trip for a concert. We had a little glitch with the self check in terminal, but staff was quick to come over and help and get us taken care of. Very clean hotel, eye catching decor and newly remodeled rooms. Prices were reasonable that day. Had a bite at the Steak House (it was DELICIOUS)! We went up to the viewing deck and it was spectacular with views in all directions. There was plenty of seating. Information displays about the city below. We decided on a spot where we could sit and watch the many images of the Sphere. The bar was open and we stayed there until they closed the floor for the night. Would definitely go back.
Room was nice just remodel!! View sucked got put behind wall. Cant believe gotta pay to park even though I payed to stayed there. Then there is nowhere to take your dog to the bathroom. Overall would stay again but will look for a better option with parking first.
I attended a squadron reunion there last weekend. The hotel is great and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff worked hard to make our reunion go off without a hitch, and it was beautifully done. I very much enjoyed seeing people that I hadn’t seen in over 40 years. All the work the reunion staff and the staff at the Strat put in made the reunion that much better. Thank you!
After paying through a booking site ($178) we got to the hotel and we're charged the hotel fees, refundable deposit, and I opted in for an upgrade fee ($388) that's fine I understand that that's how it works. However when we got to our room the AC was not working and the sink was not draining. I went back to the front desk and while the staff was very nice, they did not offer any sort of accommodations or to move our room to one with a working AC at least. I was just told they could call someone to fix it. We ended up deciding that wasn't a risk we wanted to take for the weekend and asked if there was a suite, to which they charged us another upgrade fee ($323). I can say the suite we upgraded to is very nice.
We only visited to do the rides while celebrating our 41st anniversary. We did have breakfast in the Cafe by the box office. The pancakes were great! I would highly recommend the rides if you love thrills! You may think you know drop towers but the Big Shot has a surprise! Not to mention that I didn't stop shaking for 20 minutes after getting off the X-Scream. You will not regret the experience!
We purchased the unlimited tower and rides wrist bands. The were normally $41 each but when we asked about the locals discount it dropped the price to $48.96 for 2 wrist bands taxes and fees included. Not to mention we were in and out of the parking garage 4 times. At $20 to park, the free locals parking saved us another $80. Make sure you ask about and use your locals discounts folks!
Great view from the observation, day or night!
Easily accessible via the buses (Deuce). Would recommend, location is a little distance from the other hotels (wish it was closer).
I’ve never stayed in this hotel, however a few people have recommended this in the past - I have only visited for the observation platform.
We just came back from The Strat .we loved it. The rooms were renovated. We had a suite and our hostess Amber was excellent. The service is great and the food in the top of the world Restaurant and the chi Asian Cuisine was delicious .The Pool is Great we had a wonderful Time . Back soon
Check in
We just booked for one night and check-in process was easy. There were two sort of check in which is self service and counter. If you do yourself, you don’t have to wait for queue. But if you go in line,there will be a bit long not too long.
Looking for room
They’ve a bunch of rooms so you need to make sure asking the receptionist for the right way.
Room
When choosing the room,there are two options, upgrade and regular room. If you go for regular, I guess there will be no microwave. You’d better do upgrade one which is $20 more.
To tell the truth,The room condition didn’t reach my expectations. The bathtub’s pretty large and kind of deep. The view’s fantastic.
