I have had the pleasure of staying at this establishment on multiple occasions. The hotel exudes a classic and charming ambiance. The accommodations are exceptionally clean and spacious, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The customer service is commendable, ensuring a pleasant and memorable experience. However, it is worth noting that the casino area is permeated with the odor of cigarettes, which may be unpleasant for some individuals.
I'm a local here so I'm not rating the hotel. But the casino is a very nice compared to others off the strip. They have very nice other options besides gambling. They have a great movie theater with comfortable recliner chairs. Side note it gets chilly in the theater so be aware of that. They have a bowling alley I haven't checked it out but just putting it out there. On the same level as the movie theater is a nice size game room for the kids and those under 21. They have a nice food court plus Al's oyster bar ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s
Overall the Orleans has a very nice atmosphere. Hope you enjoy your stay or play....
PS- I gave only 4 stars overall because it's a smoking casino which all casinos are unfortunately.
We stayed at the Orleans for an event - it was was well managed! The hotel was clean, the room large and the bed relatively comfortable - the bathroom is well lit which is nice, but the closet is in the bathroom which can get steamy .....the worst though is no coffee maker in the room. We were able to get a mini fridge which was helpful - we paid for a strip view which we did have, but also a dumpster, construction stuff and parking lot ... Not really worth the extra few for the view - high resort fee but it includes free valet -
This theater has a bit of a dated vibe and smells strongly of cigarettes, which isn't great. Also, the floors could really use a good cleaning. But, it’s not all doom and gloom—the actual movie viewing area is surprisingly decent. The sound and picture quality are solid, so once the movie starts, you can get pretty wrapped up in the experience. Worth a visit if you’re not too picky about the surroundings.
We were traveling to Utah for my daughter’s wedding and stopped in Las Vegas for one night. Orleans was a great place to stay. We had dinner in Fridays and breakfast at the Copper Whisk Cafe. Service and food were excellent! Wife played poker and enjoyed the experience. Only suggestion would be to have bottled water in the rooms. Pool hours (10-6) seem a bit limiting too. We definitely will return!
The Orleans is fantastic. A laid back atmosphere and extremely motorcycle friendly. The strip is fun but the road construction ruins it. Orleans is away from all that nonsense. It’s clean and friendly. If I had to name one bad thing, it would be that the smoke in the casino is a bit much. We enjoyed our stay.
The bed was comfortable. The sheets were clean but had holes in them. Quiet hotel. The room itself was dirty. Dried food and stains in the floor and the menu had dried food stuck to the paper. The bathroom floor was gross but the tub was clean so points there. You can totally tell they do a really quick wipe down and hurry up. The Hotel itself was nice with good food. I would not stay here again but do recommend if you are just doing a quick 1 day overnight. OH by the way, do not check in early unless you are willing to pay. We checked in early but theu did not tell us there was a charge until check out.
It absolutely would be 5 stars . You asked if there is anything else. Poker room 7 card stud either 1-2 up to 2-5 spread. Because we have to show up with a party of seven to open a table. Hard to find seven strangers. It is still a very live game on the east coast and over seas. So if we can consider that. I would happily play even if it was like once a week. It was the game before Chris moneymaket
