Best WLM Reviews

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for my dog!!! We called housekeeping for an extra blanket because there’s no comforters on the bed, needless to say it never came! I left a few poker chips and some money on the table and stepped out so housekeeping could tidy up the room, when I returned a short time later, the chips and money were gone and the housekeeper left her empty mt dew can where the money and chips was. I figured I’d let security know they had a thief working in housekeeping, but hey, security said they probably thought it was a “tip” or just an “honest mistake”. I never heard back from security about the missing money or chips. And you better watch the dealers closely, I had 3 kings and won the pot. But the dealer quickly clears the cards and says he had a straight. Everyone at the table caught on to his BS and quickly told him he didn’t have a queen on the table so he couldn’t have had a straight. We called the pit boss over, and he did grant me the win after some discussion. Luckily all 5 people at the table had my back on that. If they wasn’t hosting a training class I was attending, I would have quickly checked out and found another place. The ONLY thing good about this place is the food options and the valets guys are awesome!
This is a great place to stay. It doesn't pretend to be fancy, it's just a friendly place with comfortable rooms and a fun casino. The bartenders and servers are attentive and super pleasant, check-in is quick, housekeeping is accommodating. I visit Vegas about four times a year and wouldn't stay anyplace else.
The website says there’s a shuttle to the strip, but there’s not.
It’s fairly smoky & could use better ventilation. The elevator banks on the higher floors and the hallways in the conference center all smell like cigarettes.
The hotel gym is only open from 6-6, instead of the more normal 5–9.
We had fun visiting the casino and eating sushi before our show, The Jersey Boys. It was a great show, a relaxed and enjoyable casino. We enjoyed the delicious sushi bar. Friendly staff. Easy to get to by cab. Cute decor. We enjoyed the photo spots.
We went for the show, Marriage is Murder. It's been there for 25 years, going strong ????Our mindset wasn't there and the table seating was too cramped, so our experience didn't meet our expectations. The food was good, the drinks and Bartender, excellent. The property has a strong mix of old school machines and lower limit table games. It's still a great property to frequent.
Hard to blame the actual hotel and location on the crap review but is what it is. I booked my room several months ahead of coming to the hotel for a car show. I paid my first night and was given my total price which I was told was “resort fees included” by THEIR reservations group. Not a third party. But guess what when I get there I find it I was lied to about the price. Resort fees not included! Now I drove in from out of state and also too late to cancel my reservation without being charged anyways. Talked to their manager and was given the typical nothing I can do. So needless to say I will never come back to this hotel again nor can I recommend it to anyone unless you just like being lied too! Unacceptable customer service!!
And so here we are again with an update. Like their reply said to call them and make it right! I called and was on the phone with the lady for a while who just wanted to explain to me that the resort fees are never included in the price. I told her more than once I understand what she’s saying but my problem is that’s not what the lady told me when I booked the room. The lady I booked through told me they were included. So ended the call with she was going to review my conversation with the booking lady and call me back. Told her that was great and if I’m wrong or misunderstood her to let me hear it and I’ll gladly change my review and apologize for the inconvenience. But guess what here we are 3 weeks later and you’ll never guess who’s still waiting on that call back.
I understand it’s only just over $100 bucks but it’s the principle of being lied to. And if this hotel is willing to lose me and all my group that comes to this car show every year for the $100 bucks so be it. We easily lose that much in their casino in the first half hour there. We can take our business to another casino from now on.
My husband & I are in our 70’s so being off the Strip, but with an incredible view of the Strip, is a big plus. I did miss the shuttle that they used to have, but did fine with Uber. The Orleans is a manageable size unlike so many of the other mega hotels. We love the bowling & movie theatre being right there. The restaurants are all good & food court convenient for quicker meals where everyone gets their favorite. This is our place if we go to Vegas.
We had a blast. Sure there's nicer and more luxurious hotels. But this place was clean, accommodating and a quarter of the price of others. All the staff that worked for the hotel were super pleasant. The central restaurant (the hotels) was the best value by far. We stayed for 10 days and had about 7 meals there. Breakfast dinner all tasty and most value.
Gaming was fun and not crazy crowed. The massive bowling alley was straight out of the late 80s. Clean and great staff.
Will definitely be staying there again for the next Burlesque Hall of Fame weekend festival. Which in its self was a absolute blast. Definitely worth it.
