I love this place. The food is always good. The only problem I have, and it's a personal one, is the tiny vegetables cut up over the salad. Too much. Also I don't think we need the extra tomatoes and onions. Probably because I hate tomatoes.
I’ve driven past this place for three years, never going in because, well, it’s in a gas station! The prices were a bit higher than expected. The food is decent, the portion sizes are okay. The staff was not incredibly friendly or patient. The meal was fine for a last minute dinner, but not enough to make us want to go back.
Absolutely love everything we’ve ever ordered here. Had food catered for a family dinner and it was delicious. Both chicken and steak are very tender and the rice is very flavorful. The garlic dip and hummus add great flavor as well.
Highly recommend and pita wraps/sandwiches as well! The atmosphere gets 4/5 stars only because it’s not a place to sit and eat. But the gas station is super clean, etc. don’t sleep on Mr. Kabob!
I love this place, but there is something wrong with my order almost every single time, including a large catered order I placed in the past. I’m ready to start exploring other options
The combo for two is my go to when I don't want to meal prep lunches for work, and it was always delicious and well-priced. However, lately in the last 6-12 months ish, the quality has suffered. The salad is often drenched in what I assume is water from washing the lettuce, the lettuce is brown or rotten in parts, and the tomatoes and cucumbers are soggy. The rice used to be yellow and flavored, but it's just white and bland these days. Thankfully they brought back the beef kabob as a part of the combo, and all the different meats are usually cooked and seasoned appropriately. The cost remains low, so I'll probably still get this sometimes, but I really wish the salads were better. By the time it sits in the fridge for a day or two, it's toast. Previously I could divvy it up for my lunches for the week and it would hold up through Friday just fine.
The girl at the front was very rude! Asked her if I can buy falafel uncooked and she said no. Whats the difference if I buy it cooked or uncooked? Bad customer service bad hospitality! Not recommending to anyone.
Perhaps my favorite Mediterranean Restaurant in all of Metro-Detroit. Fast & friendly service, and the food is absolutely delicious. My favorites are the Sam Salad, the Falafel Hummus Tabouli Wrap, and the Veggie Combo. The lentil soup is tasty too.
Mediterranean inside of a gas station. They were one of the first here to do that. the food removed my doubts. I came now for the tabouli and spicy jalapena cilantro hummus (there's regular too). Taboulli was ok,but I ❤️the hummus. Others felt it was too
