Best WLM Reviews

This is a local favorite in the area as it is a historical site with gorgeous views. We went to go eat here in the Edison room. The food was off the charts. We had the world famous grilled cheese and also ordered the meat loaf. There was so much flavor packed into both dishes. The wait staff were amazing with their suggestions and their quick service. Very friendly place and the view is absolutely gorgeous.
I would have loved to give this place a great review. I live in the area and had booked a getaway and spa trip. The spa was incredible. The room a huge disappointment. For a room twice the cost of similar accommodation in the area I expected polished and classy. My room looked like maintenance was being done with exposed wires, tape on the floor and cobwebs over the curtains (see pictures). Moreover, when I mentioned this at reception they said I would be contacted by management. I got a phone call with “sorry about that…” No even refund of the resort charge or for parking. Overall the hotel vastly needs upgrades and while the view, restaurant and spa were lovely I’m not sure how someone would want to stay in the rooms.
Amazing - stunning - BEAUTIFUL. Every single staff member, from housekeeping to concierge were amazing! Smiling, helpful - it's like no one has a bad day, but we KNOW they do. Highly recommend this place! If you don't have/bring kids - the Club Level is AMAZING! Can't say enough about this place! The grounds are incredible - you don't need to leave the place! If you do - I highly recommend spending the day in the center of Ashville, you won't regret it! When you get back to the resort - and back up to the Club level - PLEASE say HI to Tim, Ben, Mark and Mark for me (yes, 2 Marks ????) We can't wait to go back!! Oh, the Spa is also AMAZING, but books up MONTHS in advance, do yourself a favor and book as soon as you know you're going!! This Resort is AMAZING, if you're thinking of going - GO! Worth EVERY PENNY!! You're welcome ????
We're thrilled to have returned to this exceptional hotel for the second time! This visit was extra special as we had the privilege of capturing photos for their marketing campaign. Meanwhile, we indulged in the diverse dining options, relaxed with a rejuvenating spa experience, and my husband Matt, enjoyed a round of golf. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its outstanding customer service. Every employee we encountered went above and beyond to ensure we felt truly valued and comfortable. From the warm welcome to the attentive staff, this hotel excels in providing a memorable experience. We can't wait to return again!
I was searching for a place with a high quality spa with pre-natal treatments for our babymoon and Omni delivered. From the thoughtful gift waiting for us in our room when we checked in, to the outstanding room they gave us with the perfect view, to the outstanding service throughout our stay, to the top notch spa facilities with perfect treatments (facials, massages, body wraps), we had a wonderful experience. The food is expensive and not quite up to par with the best that downtown Asheville has to offer, but also you can't really expect a resort that has to cater to a certain clientele to have the same level of adventurous food ideas that the top chefs in Asheville have. Really you're paying for the experience, the views, etc., and on that score we were very satisfied. Our room was very comfortable and clean with everything we needed. I enjoyed how much there was to do, allowing us to be as active or as relaxed as we wanted. Overall it was just what we needed with our baby on the way.
The hotel was beautiful! The food was delicious! We went for a whole week and enjoyed ourselves so much! The check in was smooth. The front desk, valet, the sports complex and the restaurants we ate at, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We loved the evenings in the big room with the fireplaces! Loved it! They do need a few more servers to accommodate all the guests, if they don't want to walk up to the bar. We didn't care to, but some guests had made comments. Now, my only "complaint" it was nothing bad, not a deal breaker, but just a bit of helpful advice. If you know there are 3 guests registered in a room, make sure you leave 3 washcloths for them, not 2. Overall highly recommend if you are looking for some R&R!
Wonderful experience at an amazing facility. The people were very accommodating and the food and facilities were excellent. The only small complaint I have is that the bathroom had a rolling barn door, which I understand is aesthetically pleasing but provides no privacy. Of course, that is the fault of the architect and not of the great staff. I will definitely return.
Mostly good, but a few things not so much.||Unfortunately was cloudy and rainy the full week, but still what great views!!||The resort is full of history and the architecture is fantastic. Staff was mostly wonderful.||Some stand outs are Amalya and Geri at the front desk, Dusty in the Elevator, and Jodi at the Presidents Cocktail Lounge. They were wonderful.||Non-standouts would be the entire staff who was working the hotel bar on Wednesday (May 15). It was a slow evening when our party of 4 sat down in at a lobby table, waiting for 15 minutes with no-one approaching our table. One in our party went to the counter, "do we need to come to the bar to order, or do you come to our table?" We were told that someone would be right over. Ten minutes later - we still had no visit from a server (what they were busy chatting about, I have no idea, but it must have been very important). Another person in our party asked if we needed to order at the bar. "Nope, someone will be over soon." The entire staff then proceeded to duck around the corner, so we couldn't see them chatting. We finally left, never being acknowledged by any of the staff.||On the other hand, that was when we went to the Presidents Lounge and met Jodi. She was GREAT! Perhaps she can teach the lobby bar staff a thing or two about how to treat customers.||Other high points were the piano bar, the bus tour, and go see the car museum! |||Would I come here again? Certainly! Stop at the lobby bar? Uh, no.
