Best WLM Reviews

Found this place off of YouTube. It was recommended by a few people as one of the top restaurants to visit while in Pigeon Forge, TN. But our visit wasn’t that impressive. We got there pretty early before the crowds. We got a good table overlooking the river. I must say they kept the rustic wood feel to the place. The menu wasn’t that impressive. Front and back of a menu. The food was okay and was presented on the plate nicely. My kids didn’t enjoy the food much. The staff seemed busy and no hospitality. There was plenty of seating up and down stairs. As we were leaving we noticed the kitchen working hard as a production line. Maybe popularity made this restaurant too busy to have that country feeling.
We love coming here every time we’re in town. The food, the atmosphere, the location, everything is wonderful. After eating, we like to watch the ducks or take pictures in front of the water or shop in the store. I really liked the pork chop with gravy.
The Old Mill Restaurant in Pigeon Forge is a must do, at least once!
The restaurant serves good, hearty, Southern comfort food and has a cool history, The building itself is charming, nestled next to a working grist mill, and the food is pure nostalgia. We tried the fried pork chops with mashed potatoes & okra and smothered fried steak with mashed potatoes & Mac & cheese. Both were tender and flavorful ~ just like grandma used to make. Each meal comes with endless sides and their famous corn fritters, which were honestly worth the visit alone.
The service was friendly, and the portions were generous! I took off one star on food because my okra was kinda cold/old tasting. Everything else was delicious.
~ Be prepared to wait. This is a popular place to eat! With good reason ✨️
After eating, we shopped at their General Store, where you can purchase cornmeal, flour, and other goodies that are milled on-site. It’s a fun way to bring a taste of The Old Mill back home and makes for a unique souvenir.
Great food, rich history, and a little something to take home—it’s a true gem!
Definitely worth a stop!

We stopped for breakfast on our way through Pigeon Forge. This place holds special memories, so it was a treat to eat here again.
The service was very fast! Sydney our server was super sweet and helpful.
Breakfast is a very basic menu, and everything was good. You will want to note that no meat is served with your pancakes, etc. It must be paid for separately. We paid $30 for the following…
1 Bowl of oatmeal with toppings
3 Pancakes
1 cup of black tea
Since I am gluten intolerant and my husband doesn’t eat nuts, the complimentary banana nut muffins were untouched.
I always tell people, a meal at The Old Mill is required with a trip to Pigeon Forge. The historic location & delicious food never disappoint. We got a seat along the river this time by chance which is always nice. My dad & I had an omelette and it was the best omelet I've ever had. The eggs where fully cooked but didn't get brown on the outside like omelettes often do, which I loved. And the complimentary banana nut muffins are so yummy!
We loved this place. Food was fast, service was excellent and our server, Victor did a great job telling us about the history.
The corn chowder was amazing! Great spin on a classic with either peppers or pimentos was spot on! The fritters were really good also and came with some maple butter to make them even better.
Girlfriend had the club sandwich was she said was really good and I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans.
Everything was great and having the view of the river made the atmosphere even better.
We highly recommend this place for a great scratch-cooked meal.
This place is absolutely phenomenal! The food was incredible, and our waitress, Amanda, was probably the best waitress we've ever had. We were quoted a 40-minute wait time, but it moved faster than that. Even if it hadn't moved faster, it would have been worth the wait. We had enough leftovers for my husband and I both to eat lunch the next day, and both be full. You get a ton of food, the food is excellent, and the service cannot be beat. If you're in the area, you should definitely go! We will absolutely be back!
We had lunch here and the food was very good. The corn fritters and corn chowder were amazing and complimentary with our meal. They were kind enough to get us some extra corn fritters as well since they were so good and disappeared. I wish I had been hungrier and could have gotten dessert which looked great.
