I liked the fajitas we got. Service was quite fast too. Maybe a bit over priced for what you get ????
The view is pretty, I'm sure it would be better in the summer.
They really need to fix their seating situation. The tables are so cramped and small party unfriendly. Only come here with a large party if you want a view and space to eat in peace
We just went there to have a beautiful view of the river.
AND - we were totally surprised by the creativity that's poured into it so generously.
In addition there is a very cute little souvenir shop at the entrance and they have tiny figurines of animals, birds, fruits with a positive message on a small note card to keep in your wallet as a lucky charm which I recommend to purchase for fun.
It's a tourist place for sure. Nice view. Neat stores around the property. The restaurant and all the different levels are really cool. Food here is well not impressive at all, so don't expect much. Our server was great though. I can't say anything negative about the service we received other than not everything came out at the same time that was ordered. Again, you come here for the tourist aspect and they know it.
Overall a good experience because of the view and cool vibes. Super cute vibes but food was okay.
The Hawaiian Burger was very flavorful and fries were crispy. Patty quality could be better. The Acapulco Salad was simple but tastes very refreshing. Wish it was prepared like a salad rather than a bunch of different ingredients put on a plate. Chicken Lollipop was unimpressive and came out cold.
I do not like being harsh about the food ... BUT.... the food is absolute trash. The menu needs a COMPLETE overhaul. The menu said fresh veggies for the salmon but it's obvious it's a frozen bag of mixed veggies grilled. The salmon had zero flavor along with the veggies. The rice was okay. Not bad. My friend had missing pesto / mayo sauce on her club sandwich and from someone who loves fries, she did not eat them.
Overall, the food is NOT worth the price. Check out the beautiful sunset on a pull over spot on the way to the oasis. Save your money and go somewhere local for much cheaper. Or go check the sunset at Mozart. They have a deck that opens to the Colorado river/Travis lake area/ Austin lake area.
*I added a picture of the sunset to save your money for that specific view.
It is one of the trendiest places because of its location on Lake Travis. I would say that the food there was better about three years ago. We usually order Fajitas, as it is a great dish for a group of people rather than ordering individual dishes. Over the weekend, there are usually a lot of people, especially if it is a sunny day.
I recently visited The Oasis on Lake Travis, and it was an unforgettable experience. The views are simply breathtaking, offering a stunning backdrop that enhances every moment. The drinks were exceptional, expertly crafted and refreshing—perfect for soaking in the scenery.
What truly stood out, though, was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we felt welcome throughout our visit. Whether you're there for a special occasion or just a casual outing, The Oasis is a must-visit spot. Highly recommended!
First time visit and I have to start by saying OMG the view is breathtaking! I love that just about every area is this restaurant is a photo opportunity. There's a designated space where you can walk out on a deck space that provides an amazing view for picture taking. There's also a love lock showcased along the eating area that's very interesting and adds as a conversation starter. Our waiter's name was Josh and provided excellent service! He was very friendly and personable. I order a chicken fajita salad and the portion was perfect. Definitely more food than I expected. There's gift shops and other areas outside the restaurant that give eye appeal esthetics for an overall amazing experience.
