Had a great time at this hotel. Our room smelled of cigarettes when we first arrived but then they quickly came to provide an air freshener machine and change the AC air filters to remove smell. It worked great. I would say the only thing is the rooms do not get that cold, but that's it. Great 24hr restaurant. Perfect walking location. Really nice workers. Elevators were never super busy. Such a great experience.
Great stay for a first time Vegas trip, front reception staff were very helpful and moved us to closer rooms as we’d organised beforehand. Rooms were adequate, not overly big but mid size, Location was perfect, mid strip. As a family resort it was as we’d expected, kids were well accommodated and never made to feel uncomfortable. We noticed there wasn’t a lot of floor staff, so drinks were hard to come by. Overall, couples, families, business people would be fine here. Volcano was still going which made it quite memorable.
Closing mid July 2024!||It is sad. Was my favorite place, Location on the strip. Tropical pool with the waterfall. Knowing friendly wait staff at the Paradise cafe and the Pantry. Many great memories and experiences. |(Even the drama of the shooting and having to go back into the parkade and stay there for hours till it was deemed safe to go to our rooms.)||I know there are other big and new resorts on the strip, but my friends and I enjoyed it as a getaway. Usually a week. For rest and relaxation by the pool. The close accessibities to shows and of course some gambling.||I hope that Hard Rock will keep the tropical style pool and Oasis feel like their resort in Florida.||Sympathies to the workers, hope they find positions quickly and or in the new Hard Rock with a good and rewarding work environment/employer.||Will miss the Mirage name (has a certain mystique to it). Hard Rock ,ugh, ||Now its finding a hotel on the strip with a similar vibe, feel and has fairly reasonable prices to stay.||Thanks for the great memories Mirage. You will be sorely missed.|Your regular patrons Julianne, Greg and Frank.
We stayed a weekend here and our family loved and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean (as clean as a hotel room can be). We had a great strip view.
The pool was very busy. Staff were friendly. We forgot our son’s floaties and were able to check out some at the towel place.
I didn’t know we had to reserve the chairs with shade ahead of time. It’s like $50 per person.
We had breakfast at Pantry in the resort and we enjoyed our meal.
Parking was easy to find.
Such a nostalgic hotel, for saying its closing down at the end of July 2024 to be demolished to make way for a brand new one being built. It made me appreciate the fact that I would be one of the last people to be staying it. The staff were so professional and friendly even though they would be losing their jobs. The upkeep right to the end is exceptional.
My husband booked us in at the Mirage for our 3 day weekend in Vegas. The view we got was amazing! The room was very clean and we even got accommodations to the bed and bathroom. Although we were hardly in the room, the service was great. We got free parking because they were not charging for parking but usually parking is $20 per night. We really enjoyed the casino and the restaurants in the lobby. It was on the strip so we were able to access many of the near by casinos and restaurants. We cannot wait to book again. The pool was great as well and it was pretty big.
Wonderful iconic hotel. Will miss it. |Please keep the pool and the tropical atmosphere. Some of the very new places have a sterile atmosphere |I love upgrades but please don’t take away the charm. My cousin’s daughter got married there and I like the whole layout.
Positive: Room was spacious and clean. Bedding was comfortable and did not smell. Fixtures nice & included bathroom drawers. Good lighting, closet. Very helpful staff. Negative: Pool closed & No alternate pool priviledge. Got 2 Qs not K room I res'd. Negative: ""
