Best WLM Reviews

The place is small and it's so crammed you can't even move comfortably. I came here on a Weekend. We expected an amazing and fun day experience. It was interesting but there was tons of people in this compact building that we couldn't even move. They do have a diverse collection of different fish and bird species. Additionally, our experience lasted maybe 25 minutes. I expected more to see. $30 per adult for a 25 minute experience is ridiculous if you ask me. I thought I was the only one to think this but I heard a few follow patrons say "That's it?" when they reached the end.
It’s a beautiful place filled with rare and interesting creatures, but we went on a Saturday afternoon and it was extremely crowded. The one thing that really impressed me was that the Dallas Aquarium’s website warned us in advance that we would be expecting lines on the weekends so it was our choice to join in the throngs of people viewing the fish and the animals. Another thing that also impressed was that they had placed bird enclosures in the cue so while you waited to buy tickets you could already see animals. I think the best time to visit would be on a weekday early in the morning when they just opened.
Absolutely beautiful. It's like half zoo, half aquarium which was neat but it was super busy. The whole place is made up of these really narrow one way paths and while this design might work in theory to get people to go in a set path, in practice the result was every time someone stopped to look at something the whole line ground to a halt which resulted in a lot of waiting. If you aren't on a time crunch, it's very casual and beautifully designed but be prepared to do a lot of waiting in lines if it's busy and don't think you can easily go back and look at something.
If you love learning about creatures, then make this a priority stop when you’re in the Dallas area.
We stopped here on a vacation. We’ve been to multiple aquariums across the United States and this one was one of our favorite.
You’ll learn about many creatures. And the aquarium was busy but not packed which was perfect.
Helpful staff and good snacks.
Lots more than just an aquarium, spent about 2 and a half hours maybe 3 exploring and enjoying the sights. it was pouring rain when i went and there was lots of areas where the water was making its way in, including the restaurant. was a nice way to spend my morning
Great place for a week-day outing. We went on a Saturday! The weekend crowd was chaotic and packed (to be expected); but the humidity inside was so high!!!! My son seemed comfortable, but for a Mama pushing a stroller - it was a SWEATY task! Overall, exciting environment and my son enjoyed!!!
Great place for kids with lots of interesting creatures. I don't recommend going on a weekend because they let more people in than they should and it is difficult to move around. They label some of the enclosures with what is inside but not all. I would prefer more labeling with educational information. Most of the time you have to identify what you are seeing from the 4-5 page booklet they give you and then have to google the species if you want facts about them.
Such a great place! I’m really not sure why there are any negative reviews. We went on a Saturday and while it was busy, it wasn’t so packed like other reviewers complained about. I would not recommend bringing a stroller because some of the walk ways are more narrow. We brought a chest carrier for our baby and it was perfect! Super cool place. We will for sure be coming back when we visit Texas again.
