Best WLM Reviews

Although our visit coincided with renovation work on the temple, which meant scaffolding obscured part of the view, the spirit of the place was truly uplifting. The nighttime views were especially stunning, with the seasonal lights adding a magical touch to the atmosphere.
Everywhere we went, we were warmly greeted by the missionaries, who were eager to answer questions and share fascinating insights about the history of the various sections. Their kindness and knowledge really enriched our visit.
Overall, despite the renovations, we had a wonderful and memorable experience.
Went to the old tabernacle and had an amazing experience listening to the organ recital. Highly recommend! I put added the schedule in one of my photos so you can see when they perform.
Church is organized and beautiful inside out. The staff is friendly and recommend you stay for their tabernacle choir during mass hours or just for shows. We arrived to the conference room located in building across from plaza and enjoyed the 2pm show. The glass located above the ceiling was beautiful with radiating light. The statues and paintings were detailed and informative.
The downside during out trip was one of the main buildings was under construction and could not be entered.
It's unfortunate that the Temple is under construction. There's not much to see. Construction is all around the area. There are other buildings to see and enjoy. The grounds are beautiful and kept clean. There are plenty of beautiful flowers in the walk about.
We went to the Music and the Spoken Word broadcast. It was wonderful! So spiritual! My mom said that it was the highlight of the trip so far.
We did not realize half of it was closed and inaccessible due to construction. Such a bummer, but at the same time fascinating, to find the temple almost completely hidden behind the most intense scaffolding we have ever seen. And we saw Notre Dame two years ago. No joke. But everyone we encountered was so lovely and we were allowed to go into the Tabernacle. Someone requested an acoustics demonstration when we were there which was astonishing. We didn’t catch/couldn’t understand everything the young lady said but we heard the newspaper rip and the pins drop. Wow. Otherwise it was so hot that we went and sat in the restroom building for a few minutes after filling our water bottles!! There wasn’t much else to do unless you wanted to do genealogy research or visit the museum. We found a parking spot on the street (and in the shade!!) no problem. Cost $4.50/2 hrs. We were there 20 minutes. lol If we are ever in SLC again, maybe we’ll drive by again. I hear it’s pretty at Christmas.
A must visit part of the Salt Lake City experience. Beautiful reflection pool and a nice calm area to relax and walk around. Take a guided tour inside the conference center to see some more impressive architecture and learn more about the Mormon ideology.
Everything about this place is memorable. The structures, the buildings, the music, the people and their history were all interesting. We went there one Thursday afternoon and went back to the place for their Sunday service. We enjoyed it.
