I genuinely believe Alabama has the best soul food in the country, and places like Taste of Heaven are why. I have never in my life had wings that were fall off the bone yet crispy, until I ate here. The staff was very friendly and the carrot cake might have been the best I ever had. Definitely recommend.
Friendly staff! I enjoyed the comfortable non-assuming atmosphere. It set my bar for southern mac & cheese and cornbread. Perhaps the best cornbread I’ve had. I tried a handful of soul food places on my trip and this place won.
I was looking for Soul Food in Mobile, Alabama. I found this restaurant and maaaaaan, the food was OUTSTANDING!!! The service was great and the people were very friendly. I'm definitely going back whenever I'm in Mobile.
This food was absolutely delicious and the owners and staff was friendly and helpful. My family enjoyed the lemon pepper wings and I should have bought the 50 pc. Banana pudding tasted almost like my Auntie’s pudding from Mississippi. Please visit and support this business!

The food is really a taste of heaven. The staff is very friendly and they serve you with a great smile. And they season their food just right I drive from to eat there especially while there to visit. Make sure you go by there they can cook at "Taste of heaven".
They don't have the name Taste of Heaven for no reason,cause my plate was truly that.Everything was fresh,hot,and delicious.Everything about this restaurant is nice.
