Best Wet Burrito hands down! If you’re looking for yummy Tex Mex comfort food the size of a Nerf football then this is it! The chips and salsa are fresh and yummy. The sauce the burrito is topped with is amazing. It’s definitely a Grand Rapids treasure and worth trying.
It's just too expensive for what it is. I've been going here since I was born, over 40 years. But when you raise the price and shrink the amount you put in the burritos it's just not worth it anymore, especially when I can go down the road for a couple of bucks more and sit down for a delicious wett burrito meal. I loved taco boy but I'll go elsewhere from now on.
Classic GR favorite. Getting their homemade hot sauce is a must.
It is funny how passionate people are about this place. The people always talk about the food while waiting in line. A lot of regular customers.
I have been enjoying Taco Boy since I was a young boy now 50+ years. It is still the same consistent taste as the very first time. From the Super Wet Burrito to the Pintos and Cheese. It's one of my first stops when I travel back and forth to Grand Rapids, Michigan, and highly recommend Taco Boy to curb your Mexican food palette. Ed D Sr.

So much sauce on the wet burrito for the container they put it in Was not large enough for the stuffed very nice burrito and sauce... which oozed out in the bag before I left the parking lot.
I believe a larger or different style container should be considered.
This is a perfect example of a local gem of a restaurant. The food is amazing and at an amazing price. The workers are personable while still quickly serving up a ton of different orders at rush times.
My go-to here is the taco meat burrito. I could get a gallon of their house made hot sauce and still not have it be enough. It's amazing.
Taco Boy is THE stop if you want cheap, fast, and delicious comfort food with a TexMex twist.
The food is still pretty good. It has definitely outgrown its building. I would say go there during its slow hours because of parking and room inside to order, but I'm unsure if they have a slower period. The food is definitely worth the trip.
I wanted to like this place since I can tell there’s some history there and I like the idea of it, but the food was so bland and overpriced for what you got. The salsa is cheap and tasted like ChiChi’s, the queso is thick and not very cheese-tasting, and the main items are just lacking Mexican flavor and ingredients. You can get the same quality and better flavor for half the price at Taco Bell. Not fair to compare to an actual Mexican restaurant. Service was fast
