A Saturday afternoon and not many people in casino at all. Went to eat at the Sunset Sports bar. A lot of employees just standing around and not paying attention. We were seated and brought our drinks, said they would return with straws. They didn't, 30 minutes later I got up and got them myself. When I told the waiter, he thought it was funny. Waiter stops to refill other tables drinks while on a tray that's bringing our food, 40 minutes later. Just a burger and fries. Cold, under cooked fries. The sourdough burger was barely cooked on one side. Way over seasoned. Then about 20 minutes later, checked on us. Asked if we wanted refills, we said yes. He returned after we were already done. Took check, paid upfront. Only one person made eye contact or smiled, the whole time we were there, and that was an employee coming out of the elevator.
I’ve gone to this casino three times in all three times I’ve thought the same thing this place will have your pockets hurting. The place is newly renovated, but it doesn’t show at all. In my opinion, this is the sleazy casino in the whole central valley. The machines are tight. The service is subpar. The restrooms are filthy. I cannot think of a good reason to visit this casino. You will lose I think you are better off at table Mountain or Chuckchansi. But if you do decide to go here Good luck because you will need it.
Very nice & clean . Beautiful casino. ???? they have a very nice theater. They have a really nice bowling alley. They have lots of different kinds of food snacks beverages. Lots of machines to play.
We went downstairs to grab some food with our daughter, and we respect the rules to not have our daughter on the casino floor as we were told it was okay if she stayed on the carpet she just couldn't be around the machines which is totally understandable. But this security guard ended up ruining our entire stay, my husband was grabbing some drinks for us to bring up to the room and I stayed on the carpet as I was told to. This security guard decided while my husband was grabbing our drinks to flash his badge at him saying he was a "detective" and he asked who we were, and what we were doing which is completely odd since we were doing absolutely nothing wrong and abiding by the rules of the casino. He was the only one to treat us like this. And let me point out we walked by at least 6 different security guards and they left us completely alone cause again we weren't doing anything wrong. He assumed we were going to walk around with our child and drinks. And my husband explained we were just going back up to our room is all. I'm sorry but this unacceptable, flashing your badge at someone?! Telling them they are a "detective"?! And then assuming we were doing something wrong instead of just asking politely. It ruined our entire stay and made me feel like I couldn't simply go downstairs to grab food for me and our daughter because I'm just going to harassed by security when I'm doing nothing wrong. Then to add to it, we found a broken bong in our room and security did nothing about it. It was broken and our daughter could have severely cut herself if she grabbed it. I think it's safe to say this is NOT a first class hotel and they do not treat you well here. Beware. Find somewhere else better to stay because it's not worth the trouble staying here being harassed the whole time. To add to this review, we had asked kindly for some Bottled waters to be sent to our room because me and my husband were feeling really ill, and the lady came up and said "Usually I don't this, but I being nice today!". What.in.actual.F. they clearly do not care about their customers here period. DO NOT COME HERE.
Casino is nice. Has lots of slots. Table games not so much. This casino has a huge bingo hall which is separate from casino, across the parking lot. The rooms are nice and comfy. Everything looked clean and smelled fresh!
I live in the SF Bay Area, my mother lives in Visalia CA. Whenever I go to visit my mom I usually wait until traffic dies down. Unfortunately because of the long drive and late hours I can either get a hotel room or wake my mother up in the middle of the night. I usually choose the hotel room option. ||I have stayed at MANY Casino Hotels in my life and the remodeled rooms at Tachi are among my favorite. If you ever get a chance to stay in one of their Loft rooms go ahead and treat yourself, it's worth it.||One of the things that make Hotels stand out for me is the Customer Service. I don't care how nice the hotel is, if the Front Desk Staff is not pleasant, I will take my money elsewhere. ||The other night after a long drive, I wanted to get a little but of gambling in. By the time I was ready to get some sleep, I only had but 5 or 6 hours before I would have to get up, pack up, and check out. ||Having had some success at the Casino I figured I would see about extending my stay.||All three on duty Front Desk people all were smiling and ready to help me, so I decided to choose the young lady who had checked me in earlier. ||Whenever a Customer Service Representative remembers my name it makes me feel like a VIP. ||Even though hours had gone by and she had helped countless other customers since, miss Elvira V remembered and addressed me by name as soon I walked up. She was very friendly, warm, and welcoming.||She is truly a Customer Service Professional and an asset to Tachi Palace. ||If you enjoy gambling and find yourself in the Central Valley area I would highly recommend staying and playing at the Tachi Palace Hotel, Casino. ||BTW: their machines are much more generous than those at Rohnert Park's Graton Casino
Amazing casino starting with the entrance, professional security including the metal detector and having everyone come in thru one door. Enormous casino plenty of slot machines but the food there needs a lot of improvement from the hamburgers to the Asian food. Either than that amazing casino I totally recommend it.
Bad customer service at the Sunset Sports Bar. Came down for breakfast the next morning after a fun night celebrating my birthday playing bingo and the slots with family and friends. Got to the restaurant ahead of my party at 10:20 to secure a table only to be told by the hostess that they had stopped serving breakfast right at that moment. I told them no way, the menu says breakfast is served until 11:00. The hostess thought about it for a minute and said she would seat us if the rest of my party was present. I told her that my wife and my 71 year old sister in-law with handicap are on coming down from the elevator. After a few minutes of waiting and the rest of my party had not shown up, the hostess changed her mind. I asked for the manager. Shauna, the manager showed up and called someone on the phone. When she got off the phone, she apologized and said that they had just closed for breakfast (I wonder if the time change or the daylight saving time messed up the kitchen staff) and will reopen for lunch at 11:00. I asked to speak to someone higher up and she said there is no one else I could speak to and there is nothing she could about the situation. We were very disappointed. We definitely won't go back to that restaurant. I hope Coyote Grill reopens soon.
