Amazing service. Our waitress (Candy is her name I think) was spectacular. And she can sing so beautifully. This place takes you back to the 50's. Not just in design but also when serving. They use 50s slang and mannerisms. We didn't look up this place before arriving. So it was a delightful surprise. We were immediately greeted with the biggest smiles from the hostesses. When we were sat down at our booth we were given newspapers that turned out to be our menus when you fully opened them. The theming was perfect. We want to go back for dinner next time we are in town.
What a fun place! Lots of period decor, the female staff in period 50's dresses. The menu is a "newspaper" with fun facts of the fifties. Best of all was our server, Joel, who was very nice and friendly and gave us great service. Will definitely be back! Oh! The food was great! ????
Top notch! Wished we had gotten to sit in the car, but all else was fabulous on both visits.
The newspaper menus are too cool! The food was great and the service was friendly and efficient.
We look forward to next year's vacation.
Me and my friend were driving around looking for somewhere to eat and saw this adorable place and had to stop and eat!! I got the classic club and I told my friend it was the best club I've ever had, probably because of the candied bacon ???? ???? I wish I had a place like this back home!! So delicious!! Our waitress was super friendly too and on top of everything even though it was super busy!!
We came in for the Shrimp Festival, 2024. One morning we went in and got a western omelette. It was so delicious. We got one to go for my brother-in-law, and it came out super quick. The second time we went in, we got the fried pickles for the appetizer and they were sooooo good. For our meal, I got the chicken basket and my sister got the meatloaf. I wanna say we totally enjoyed the atmosphere, food, service and our server Lana!! Thanks for making our vacation more enjoyable!!!

We absolutely loved this place! It’s become a must do for us each year on vacation when we stay in Perdido key, and the experience definitely makes up for the drive. We went on Saturday for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised when told the wait would only be 10-15 mins. Nothing beats the atmosphere, which is amazing and so fun for kiddos and adults. It reminded me of being somewhere like Disney honestly, but more authentic to the 50’s theme. There’s an old car out front, “newspaper menus”, an old car booth inside, authentic retro diner decor, and even I love Lucy playing on a projector in the back room where we sat. Our waitress was friendly, and we loved how all of them dressed up to fit the theme. I had the country fried chicken breakfast which was delicious and a great amount of food for the price. My husband had the waffles with berries which smelled AMAZING, and tasted even better. If you’re in the area, and into this sort of thing, without a doubt drop in and check it out for yourself. We’re so glad we did!
Fantastic food and great quick service!! The shrimp and grits was one of our favorites!! ???? Avocado Benedict was really good!! ???? chicken fried chicken was fried perfectly and the white gravy was awesome!! ????. Chicken and waffle Benedict was amazing!! ???? Ham and cheese omelette was great!! We’ll be back for sure. Very family friendly and great vibe!! ????❤️. (Love ????all the pink lighting, you can see it in all the food photos ????)
Very cool place to eat in Gulf Shores. 50s retro diner with fantastic food. We ate here for breakfast and were not disappointed. I really did enjoy the fact that our waitress allowed us to substitute on a few items. It helped with the experience here to add to their great food and service. Enjoy!
