The reserve feature five floors of differing coffee, food, and other beverage experiences. From the classic coffee shop drinks like lattes to higher-end cocktails, sandwiches, and pastries there’s something for almost everyone to enjoy.
There’s tasteful decorations throughout the venue from a curved escalator to coffee themed wall hangings. Definitely check out the rooftop patio area that offers views of Magnificent Mile.
The bathroom situation is limited- there are 3-4 single person bathrooms on a few floors but it isn’t enough to keep up with the immense foot traffic through the store.
Had heard a lot about it and visited it with my family over the weekend. It was jam packed and the feel and smell when you enter the place hits your brain with so much of tasteful sensation. Spread across 4 floors, each floor has its own unique menu to offer. I would recommend trying Whiskey Coffee. The rooftop is a good place if you get a place to sit. Must visit if you are traveling to Chicago.
This was the very first time I visited and it didn’t disappoint me, it’s amazing how many options they offer, it’s a 4 floor building and each floor offers different coffee options. When we arrived it was really crowded but we just stayed in line for 10 minutes until they took our order. There’s plenty of space to take a seat but I highly recommend the rooftop since it has a beautiful view to Michigan Avenue. The food selection they offer it’s wonderful but definitely it’s the best affogato I’ve ever had!
I enjoyed the atmosphere and the view that this Roastery offers. Some native residents phrased this place as a “tourist trap,” but I recommend visiting it at least once. It is a bit touristy, but I think the experience is worth it.
For food, the selection they offered for reserved coffee was great. The quality is top notch, and it tastes quite differently from the rest of Starbucks locations. I did not try their desserts, but they looked tasty as well.
The one problem I had was with their Arriviamo Bar. I understand that the place gets busy. However, I don’t think it should’ve taken 15 minutes to order my drink and another 15 minutes to get it - I think this was just lack of attentiveness on the service workers because some of them were just standing there chatting. This seemed to be the common pattern as the people sitting next to me faced the same problem. Also, the drink I ordered, Lake Shore, tasted terrible. I don’t think they paid attention to the ratio as the best I can describe the experience is drinking pure lime juice.
If I visited this place for the coffee and the view, I’d give them five stars. Unfortunately, I also visited the bar, which was a huge disappointment.

MIND BLOWN by this Starbucks! This 4-story gem is the perfect place to feed your coffee fix, knock out some work, and a place to meet up. This was my first time here and I was a kid in a candy store! The food was highly rated, the coffee on another level, but the atmosphere and aesthetic is why you should go!
Visited on weekday with family ! Busy but not long queue ! I love coffee but I’m not a big fan of Starbucks and visit to a Starbucks around 10 to 20 times a year whenever I travel.
I’m very glad I stopped here ! this one is exceptional ! Though I have been to Chicago four times but this is my first time in thisStarbucks Roastery located at the heart of the Chicago Downtown ! It’s quite big and I have visited each floor up to the top ! Very nice view from the roof.
