Beautiful area to walk around- great views and scenery. Plenty of options for a drink or meal. The pier is free, dog friendly and plenty of little mini parks to extend your walk. Glazier children’s park had lots of cool looking playground equipment for the kiddos! Around the Christmas holidays we saw lots of decorations, a holiday market, and Santa themed putt-putt (fee for the putt putt course)
The St Pete Pier is a historical landmark that has changed over time with new eateries and features while conserving the significance of this key point. I love the variety of activities, from a beach front for a swim, seasonal ice skating in the winter season (yes, ICE skating), a creative mostly- covered playground, eateries, several free standing local vendors of foods, arts, and jewelry, a cute museum of sea animals, a few shops.
Christmas decor was awesome!!

I love the splash pad in hot months for kids. Live music, street performers, and pop-up dance events augment a robust events schedule.
The pier is really long and you get great visuals on both sides of it. I visited a week ago and it was sunny but windy, so you definitely need a jumper minimally. There's a coffee place at the far end of it, and the coffee was quite strong in fact, but pricey, however I noticed that a lot of places around Tampa and Clearwater areas also had similar prices. There's a little tour "bus ride" which takes you from one end of the pier to the other for free, which is quite nice, friendly tour guide as well. Overall, it was a great place to simply take a nice walk and take in the sights.
Huge pier with all modernized features like playground, beach, water park, lighting with all palm trees. It’s absolute beauty to spend time at with family or friends. There are lot of eating places surrounding but the teak restaurant at the end of the pier is best with views with water front and city lights at night. And also best place to take all kinds of pictures.
Well, the pier is lovely and the weather was nice. There were people walking, rollerblading, bikeriding, etc. however there didn’t seem to be a lot to do besides eating and drinking. There was a little bit of music and maybe there was a kids play area, but it just seemed I don’t know somewhat lacking
As a local, I love spending time at Saint Petersburg Pier! The waterfront views never get old, and walking along the palm-lined paths is one of my favorite ways to unwind.
Very clean and spacious , not the typical pier, it is concrete all the way out with many viewing options, and a shuttle if needed. It had a splash pad, dining options. We sat on top of the dining/ bar area had adult beverages and watched the dolphins. The restrooms were clean.
