The owner Mr. Howard is the best, he has great customer service skills. He gives you a full rundown of tint options before you make a decision on the type and % of tint you want. His work is outstanding and he know the different kinks (struggle) with different cars. I will continue to use and refer SOLAR GARD!!!
Thank you Mr. Howard
If you want the job done right, Look No Further!. Go see Howard Gaddis and get the man that knows what you need to do the work. Call and set up an appointment with him - he will need to know of course what vehicle you have. If your new to the tinting world, ask him questions and get the answers - that's what I did! I am including some after pics of my 2015 F-150 and I am thoroughly happy with the work and the price. I was able to add a layer of tint on the back windshield and I matched my front driver and passenger door to the crew door windows. The reason the rear appears darker is from the added layer on the rear glass.
5 stars friends. Service, Price, Friendly and knowledgeable staff, prompt scheduling and speedy as can be considering the work and wait times.
You can drop your vehicle off and pick it up or you can wait there if your on time for the service - keep in mind, this is a job that takes several hours. I waited in the shop and we held conversations with other arrivals and friends of Howard.
I would return and I would trust him with any vehicle I referred.
Its been a few months now (tint has held up through heat, cold, snow ((Welcome to Alabama)) countless washes, thousands of miles and Howard has allowed me to get some awesome feedback on the looks of this truck and this is my thank you and appreciation to him.
Gaddis is such a knowledgeable & nice person! He’s very passionate and amazing about/at what he does! I’m really satisfied with my tint! Also, he believes in giving his customers good quality products & work that will last including a lifetime warranty on legal tint. Please book with him now! Thank you Gaddis for everything and I really enjoyed your good company!

My go to guy for TINT! Howard does an amazing job, the only person I'd get to tint my cars! He's been tinting every car I've owned for well over 10 years now!
A great experience! Very fast, friendly, and professional. Was able to get a same-day appointment and my vehicle window tint looks amazing. Highly recommended!
I have used Solar Gard 2x. Both times, pricing was very fair, work was done in the time quoted. Have not had any issues with his work. Super nice guy. His helper is nice, too. Would visit again if needed.
My man does the best tint job in town. Best prices and always friendly service. I have had 3 cars done in the last 5 years and never had a problem. I always get the 3M tint applied.
Application process is done with care. Have no fear about scratching paint or any interior damage. Will always bring my cars here.
I've had 2 vehicles tinted here over the past couple years and the experience has been top notch. It's obviously a high quality tint with several choices on hand from which to chose. The owner is a master of his trade & pays attention to detail. With his input I was able to pick from the lineup of tint choices & be 100% on board before the install began. Would recommend to friends & family.
