Quite a little cruise from Saginaw at night. In the rain. 1st time driving there. 30 or 40 minutes but no traffic to speak of. It was a weeknight.
A fun getaway for a few hours and we only spent $20 each. The penny machines kept us even with winning and losing. It was not busy and pretty quiet for a casino!
There is no service. No waiter/waitress people. No free coffee or anything. There is a food court with a few choices of food. I ordered a 20 oz. fountain drink - $3. A polite young man waited on me. He was alone at his food court post. That was the only place to get something to drink besides the bar which we walked past on the way in.
I guess I only spent $17 - 3 for my drink.
There is a player's card you can get if you have valid I.D. not sure what the benefits are.
First time staying here and it's a average hot priced like a premium resort. The pool area is pretty cool. I got a free room from the lions and the people working the front desk are really rude upon check in but overall wasn't bad for a night.
My wife and I love it here! The rooms are beautiful, modern and clean. The table games, slot machines and comps are fair, and the staff is outstanding! We decided to check out Firekeepers in Battle Creek and were very disappointed. I’ve been to most casinos in Michigan, and this one is my favorite by far!
Overall an impressive casino. The room I stayed in was great. Very modern with push buttons for everything. The casino floor was not too loud. It had good flow and did not have that heavy smoke smell that some casinos have. The staff greeted me with a smile and were very helpful. The security staff were also very helpful when I had questions. The conference center is very nice and the food that was served was some of the best conference food I've had. The food court did not match the rest of the hotel. I tried Guy Fieri's Chicken Guys and I was very disappointed. Cold greasy chicken and cold fries. The special seasoning on the fries was good however. This alone will not stop me from returning.

They have a beautiful outdoor area.
With lush plants and trees . A fire pit.
Everything a 5 star resort should have.
The prices are good.
We were there years ago.
They have greatly improved since our last visit.
One thing they need is more wheelchair access to the casino floor.
They have a couple.
Could add more . And also a players club towards the back.
Most guests would appreciate that.
My son and I had a great time. The room was fantastic as was the price. The food was incredible and wasn't priced too high. The staff was friendly and helpful. The slots were fun and we left with more than we started with, my son though was the big winner figures it was his first time. All in all two thumbs up high. Thank you to the staff of Soaring Eagle for a memorable time!!
Food court was well maintained with variety of foods. Big Burritos with side of chips were on point and would order again. The Manager on duty for Ike’s sandwich spot totally saved the day when he dug thru the trash can and found my son’s friends retainer. You saved the day and we thank you!
On a side note, we were staying at the water park and really enjoyed it.
Didn't stay at the Resort but did go to the Casino. Amazing atmosphere with plenty to do even if you don't gamble. Did stay here several years ago and had a great time going to one of their featured shows. Just to see the inside of the Casino is awesome. There is also a great family oriented water park that will keep the kids happy. Highly recommended.
