Best WLM Reviews
Had been wanting to try this place for a while since I heard so many rave reviews about it. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Took about 20 minutes for us to receive our food after ordering. There isn't much space to wait inside and it does get busy. I think I was expecting more but it was decent for a vegan burger. We wanted to try the dance hall queen burger but they said they were out of it so we tried the one night stand instead. They do give you a lot of fries with your order which is nice but they weren't that good. The seasoning they put on the fries has a faint taste.
I finally got the chance to check this place out after hearing about it for years, and I live less than 10 minutes away. Ubereats had a Buy 1 Get 1 Free offer for the Fussy Hussy, so I decided to give it a try. After picking up my order, I noticed they had desserts, so I decided to wait while the cashier helped a couple who, like me, it was obvious were first-timers. She treated us both with A1 service. When I got home, my big back activated. I enjoyed every morsel. I’m not usually a fan of crinkle fries, but whatever they're seasoned with made all the difference. The burger itself reminded me of how Burger King used to taste back in the day – charbroiled. I’m a big fan of red onions and pickles on burgers, and they didn’t disappoint! The cheese kind of threw me off at first because I’m lactose intolerant, so I don’t normally get cheese (we'll see how my stomach handles this vegan cheese, lol). But I’ll admit, it really elevated the burger, along with the slut sauce and that soft ass bun ????. I didn’t try the brownie or pie tonight, so I can’t comment on their taste yet. But I’ll definitely be back for the burger alone.
This Location was very inviting and upbeat. They had a great vibe and music selection. I had the pleasure of having Traci M be my server. She was bubbly confident and matched the upbeat vibe. The food was delicious and top tier!
If you like cursings, rap vibes. People cooking with and without hair nets. No one greets you coming in they assume your just picking up until you do them can you place a order. Nothing drinks wise was available beside lemonade that's not vegan. Bread not in use sits open. They use the same gloves to cook and pack orders, fix their hair. Food was decent the sloppy toppy had more of a spice kick, the one night stand could use more season, the sweet Brad over powers it.
Ohhmygoodness!!! First time here. I waited in line for over 45 minutes, but it was well worth the wait! Made a new friend and had some delicious vegan food! The only thing that would make it better is if they open a location in New England ????????????✨️
This place has been on my to go list since 2020, my last visit to ATL. I made sure this will be my first stop this time around. On Wednesday stopped by wanted to order the Project Chik, but was told this location doesn’t carry that sandwich anymore ????. Had to pivot and order the One Night Stand w/fries and a water. The sandwich was good and didn’t disappoint, the fries needed a lil bit of salt. My only suggestion is to hire maybe one more person. Because the cashier had to take the orders, and help prepare the food too. It was the lunch rush so another person would have been sufficient.
The restaurant was extremely small, made me so claustrophobic! The girls were yelling and I’m pretty sure that’s apart of the theme, but I couldn’t understand a word they were saying. A greeting still would have been enough. The food was just okay, as much as they market this I was expecting it to taste like a REAL burger. It was just the average beyond patty with toppings. The fries had maybe Lawrys seasoning, nothing to wow me about. I would come back if I was in GA I guess. I guess I was just disappointed because I was expecting more. Nevertheless, I love the black owned business part, the vegan part and I will always support. I do recommend others to try it vegan or not. Much love and keep thriving.
I have been waiting for years to try the food. Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to the hype. It wasn't nasty.. it was just average. Nothing special about a beyond meat burger that I can buy from Walmart and fancy it up for less than 20 bucks. The fries had way too much seasoning. I loved the shout out being that we are from Chicago and the sea moss banana pudding was bomb!! Other than that, it was just an overall average way too pricey experience..
