I had exactly the experience I was looking for when flying from Idaho to Biloxi for a beer and sea food at a beach bar! Thank you to all of the wait staff who served beers, apps, and dinner. Especially Caroline who is a very friendly, fun yet professional waitress. The patio is beautiful, the walk up from the board walk is amazing, so glad I didn't stay in Orange Beach. The sunset was beautiful and the patio is comfortable. Best experience I could ask for. Can't wait to come back!!
Excellent place to eat! Great view from patio. I had lunch here today and the food was out of this world. I started with she crab soup. Followed that with their shrimp rolls (like a lobster roll, but with shrimp) And also a non-alcoholic Miami Vice cocktail. ???? My server was Ryan and he was awesome.
Each time I've come to this Shaggys locations, we've had great service as well as amazing food. This time we had Jacob for our server and he did a phenomenal job. He's a chill guy that's very knowledgeable about the menu. When my boyfriend couldn't decide between entrees, he described each option and made it easier for him to make a decision. Overall, great experience! Thanks Jacob for your great customer service.
First off, great service!! I asked to sit outside, but as soon as I sat down, I realized I forgot sunscreen (I burn easily). They quickly got us to another table and were understanding and so nice about it.
The food was incredible! We've never had fried crab claws before and what a tastey experience. Their platter was fried perfectly, flakey and fresh. And the Cuban of course was amazing! We'll definitely be coming back here again to try more items on the menu. :)
The atmosphere was so nice and relaxing, as we watched the sunset. We sat out on the patio and had amazing service by Carol Ann. She was so friendly and has a delightful personality that makes you feel at home. I had the Shaggy's Alfredo with shrimp and it was so delicious and creamy, definitely recommend it.
And my boyfriend had the tuna bowl. It was really good and I almost ate his plate instead!
We will most certainly be coming back and will highly recommend this place to our friends!
Really cool place with great views of the beach, delicious food and cool drinks! The Beach Balls tasted good. Fried Captain's Platter is not as big as some places but was very good and filling. The Chicken Bahama Grill had an awesome flavor even though some of the chicken was a little dry. Still good! The Seafood Mac & Cheese was amaze-zing! Even their wings were good! Our group of 5 was pleased.
This place is an absolute must-visit! The service from the time you're greeted at the main entrance to the point of service. The seafood fries appetizer is a must! The seafood platter flounder fillet with jumbo shrimp is excellent. The shrimp taco yummy! The rum punch is a must as well! Bar is great food was delicious. Brianna our server was amazing as well very attentive with service. Menu easy to read quick to choose. The views alone are worth the price the best on the coast! Literally beach front dining at its best!
I, my wife and out two Basset Hounds (Lucy and Ethel) dined here. All in all it was pretty good. They are quite dog friendly which is why we chose to try it. They even have a dog menu which is unusual... So from that perspective they get a 5. The service was good, the view from the deck fantastic. Unfortunately I didn't care for the music they played and they played it loudly... As for the food it was just okay several of our selections were deep fried and all of that had too much breading so that led to me to peeling half of the breading off of my shrimp and onion rings. I would try it again - I'd just order differently and ask for a table that wasn't right under a speaker ;)
