Best WLM Reviews
Best buffet EVER, they have a huge variety of food, the bathrooms are very elegant, the decoration is perfect, the food is amazing, good taste and very fresh. Lots of spaces, my kids enjoy the deserts! Definitely will come back with all my family.
I've lived in PA for 5 years now and finally visited Shady Maple. This place lives up to the hype. The buffet is huge. We went on a Saturday, and the food/drink selection was great. There was a line to get in, but it moved fairly quickly for the number of people there. It was overwhelming at first, but I should have known that weekends are crazy there. I love the pierogis, brisket, and the various potatoes. First time having shoofly pie as well. The gift shop was huge. You can really get lost in this place. Will definitely be back.
Going there hungry, for a home cooked meal will leave you satisfied!! Crew is polite and accommodating, making the experience for people with anxiety feel comfortable. It is loud and crowded for people with sensory disorders, but there are multiple seating options as well as multiple divided rooms that may help. The gift shop has many cool collectibles as well as art for sale. Anything from rock candy to outdoor decorations can be found on the 1st floor.
Everything here is handicapped ♿️ accessible (elevators on site). Although some isles may be a tight squeeze.
This location is suitable for plus-size travelers(tables and booth options are available)
We went around 5pm on a Saturday and there was a huge line to get into the building. We had to wait about 45 minutes until we got seated.
Everyone was friendly and they had a variety of foods. They also had a lot of different drink options from icees to a cappuccino machine. They had different milks and lots of juices.
They had everything from fried chicken, brisket, steak, burgers, hot dogs, a salad bar and a bunch of sides.
For dessert, they had a soft serve vanilla & chocolate machine and a variety of pies, cobblers, apple dumplings, puddings, jello and cakes.
For $30 a person it was definitely worth it.
Step into a culinary wonderland at Shady Maple, where every bite is an adventure into flavor paradise. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality fit for a newborn hamster. The buffet spreads dazzle like a treasure trove, offering a feast fit for a famished gargoyle. I indulged like a ravenous baby goat, savoring each morsel with delight. Every corner echoes with laughter and joy, as the staff showered my family and me with kindness. It's a dining experience that transcends mere meals, leaving you spellbound by its charm and culinary enchantment. Oh my heavens, spend your lottery winnings here.
We came here on a Saturday and the line to get in and get seated wasn’t too bad. Food is decent here, plenty of options of drinks. Would recommend coming during weekdays so it’s not too busy and don’t have to wait to get food. Absolutely worth the drive and the money!
Shady Maple Smorgasbord is world famous and people are bused in from all over the country and globe to enjoy it. The variety of food is immense and everything delicious! Beverages for every taste. Delight your palate and enjoy this unique buffet! And if you come for your birthday it’s free! (Bring one paying friend). Enjoy the famous Amish man Abner Zook 3-D artwork, then visit the giant gift shop before heading home. It will leave you with the best memories!
My family and I came here for dinner on Saturday during Memorial Day weekend and it was very busy. It was overwhelming so I definitely don’t recommend coming on a busy holiday weekend. We waited about 30 or so minutes before being seated. The food was your typical buffet stuff and nothing extraordinary. Some of the meat was dry (like the brisket and fried chicken breast). The best I things I ate was the Mac and Cheese, Perogie and apple pie. The roast beef was decent. The wait staff was friendly. Checked this foodie place off the list and I probably won’t come back.
