Everything was nice and made for a great night of sleeping well. The only reason the rooms got a 4 instead of a 5 is because there was a strong odor coming from the bathroom. I think it was either a strong ammonia or a drain cleaner. Room service was very simple, just fill out the card and leave it outside your room by 2am and pick your delivery time. They were very prompt with delivery and the food was great, the coffee was wonderful. They did a great job putting together all the extras you might want, such as jelly and butters, sugars and creams. It was way more food than you would expect. They were generous with all the portions. Highly recommend the convenience and quality of breakfast served in your room. Enjoy!
I drove past it everyday for years and finally stopped in for dinner at council oaks. The steak was excellent, it literally melts in your mouth. Spent some time in the casino and I can tell you they did a wonderful job turning this once convenience type store into a glamorous casino. It is a destination that you need to visit with live entertainment and a clean well thought out plan. To be honest I didn't think it would be so nice inside.
We ate at Rise cafe which was delicious and very reasonably priced, just about the same as fast food but it's actually real food, our server Denice was extra cordial to our party, since we enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we stayed and chatted for about an hour and, to our delight, Denice served us with a complimentary round of beverages, after our check was paid. The highlight of the trip was Elvis' gold leaf piano in the entrance. It's a new piece of memorabilia and is truly priceless. It's amazing Hard Rock curated this piece of history and I can't think of a better home for it.
Been here a few times and usually had a decent stay but this time it seems it has gone downhill. First, check in had quite a long line. I've said this in other reviews and will continue to call out properties that have long check in lines. It is a terrible first impression. Guests waiting to check in havent usually come from next door...they have been driving, flying, etc and just want to get settled. A line at check in says the property doesnt really care. While it did move fairly quickly, it was a long line and a wait nonetheless.||Our room was in the old tower and was basic and tired. It was clean and well stocked but dated. The casino is huge, which is why we like this place -- we like big casinos where there is a lot of variety of games all under one roof. But there was absolutely no play here. Machines just sucked the money and it wasnt even fun after a while. We played multiple denominations, low limit, high limit, new games, older games and the result was the same. No wins. Now, we never expect to win, but at least play a little. And the comps here are nothing. Equal play at other major chains seems to get me a lot more. There was essentially minimal comps and free play earned on what I feel like was decent play.||There should be more casual dining. Rise is decent but once youve been there for breakfast and lunch its repetitive. The food court looks underwhelming, is tucked away in a dark corner, and its overpriced. Constant Grind looks appealing but is limited in its menu. A few more casual places would be better.||The real kicker is I asked for 1 hour late check out--- till noon. Was told it would be $50. That's complete nonsense for 1 hour (probably less). Funny, when I had to wait in line to check in and it was past the check in time, I didnt charge them for their delay. I refused to pay this especially after playing a lot. And the kicker was housekeeping knocked on the door before 11am even with the do not disturb on asking when we were leaving. I should charge them for the early check out!||Unfortunately, there is not a lot of competition on the west coast of Florida right now for gaming. I hope this changes.
Overall, amazing place. We couldn’t find a table where the minimum bet was less that $20 a hand so if you’re looking for lower wagers you’ll be disappointed. But the service was amazing. The food was amazing. I can honestly say the shrimp at the Hard Rock Cafe was some of the best I have ever had. And the burger was to die for. Overall, fantastic experience and other than the gambling wage requirements, this is a five star place all the way around.
Very good service. Massage was good. Personnel where extremely friendly and nice. Excellent amenities. Signs are confusing and we could not find a way from the parking lot to the spa that does not cross the STINKY casino, which makes me stress out after a relaxing session. Call center could be better.
The casino is huge and totally awesome, full-on Vegas style. Lots of table game options and slots galore. They also have a great variety of upscale restaurants. The payouts are not very good, but it's entertaining. There is plenty of parking available with several parking garages.
This was my first limited experience visiting the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. From what I was able to enjoy I found interesting. There's several pieces of art and photos of celebrities that I assume previously stayed or played at the casino. Some I immediately recognized and others maybe not so much, but that's cool. I noticed several shops and eating options; sorry I didn't partake so I can't really address. I was working on a tight play window and therefore I was busy getting my game on. To get started I stopped by one of their three player club counters - genius idea by the way! This helped to reduce wait time for new patrons who wish to set up new player accounts or get information about upcoming events and so forth. The casino has a very large single level slots play area divided into two sections; smoking and non-smoking. My only disappointment is that it felt as if the smoking section was the larger of the two with seemingly the majority of the newer gaming machines. And because I don't smoke or enjoy being around the fumes I found myself not playing as long as I would have liked. Poker is my jam anyway! Again due to limited time, I didn't play any poker on this trip, but I was pleased to see there was also a large poker room on the lower level. Maybe next time I'll have longer to stay and play. But all in all I enjoyed the experience.
