We came for the European Christmas market and it was quite the experience! Highly recommend! Very similar to those in Europe with decor, food, souvenirs and booths! Be sure to get your Glühwein in a souvenir mug, though they do not wash or rinse them, just a heads up. We got it in a paper cuo and slipped it in the mug. Would have been better had they had running water. Purchase your tickets in advance and skip the lines at the box office!
We specifically visited Climate Pledge. Once in a lifetime experience!
Staff and security were incredibly helpful. We found our floor and section with no issues.
Basic self-serve concessions were reasonably priced to us, as out-of-staters. A single shot of whisky ran us $25, but my husband only wanted something for his allergy cough and didn't specify a brand. For all we know it was a top-shelf pour, but if you come ready to drink, also come ready to spend :)
Staff at the concessions were also friendly and helpful. Ushers shared interesting stories and anecdotes with us while we waited for the show to start. It feels good to visit a place where the venue seems happy you're there.
Show itself had solid acoustics and fun lighting. Had a blast & made it home well past Ricardo's bed time. We're excited to come back for many more concerts :)
Thanks for a great time, Seattle!
We have attended quite a few events at this arena. Really enjoy that we can easily walk in from a number of different hotels as well as parking areas. Great atmosphere and lots of different food options inside.
Seattle Center is a true hub of artistic and cultural activity, providing a plethora of experiences for visitors of all interests. My recent visit was deeply enriched by the diverse array of art displays and installations scattered throughout the area. This place pulses with creativity, from live performances and innovative art exhibitions to interactive installations that engage and inspire. The atmosphere is lively and dynamic, making every visit unique with something new to discover.
The grounds of Seattle Center are beautifully maintained, providing a welcoming space for leisure and exploration. Whether you’re there to visit the iconic Space Needle, catch a show at the theater, or simply enjoy the outdoor art, Seattle Center delivers a fulfilling artistic experience. It's a perfect destination for art lovers and those looking to immerse themselves in the creative spirit of Seattle.
The view is so incredible. I would plan for at least an hour to be there because getting up the elevator and getting down the elevator there's so many crowds and I went in the middle of the week when it was probably not very busy and it still took me over an hour to get up and down. The views of the city are absolutely stunning. I would plan to go on a clear day if possible. I went on a day that wasn't 100% clear but I still had an amazing view. My only complaint is that it is kind of expensive. Another tip bring a tripod!!
The Seattle Center is one of the city’s most iconic destinations, and for good reason. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this vibrant area offers something for everyone. The Space Needle is obviously the main attraction, but there’s so much more to explore here.
I particularly love the variety of cultural venues, like the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) and the Chihuly Garden and Glass, both of which provide immersive, visually stunning experiences. If you’re into art or history, there are plenty of exhibits and events to keep you entertained. For families, the Seattle Center Armory is a great spot with casual eateries and fun activities.
The grounds are beautiful, especially during the warmer months, with open green spaces perfect for picnics or just people-watching. The International Fountain is a favorite spot to relax or cool off on a sunny day, and there are often free concerts or events happening in the summer.
If you’re looking for a lively and diverse area to spend the day, the Seattle Center is an essential stop. It’s a hub of excitement and culture, and you’ll never run out of things to do.
It was great to revisit the Space Needle since the last time I saw it I was just a little kid. Loved seeing the grounds below and watching the rotation. Highly recommend this and the Chihuly exhibit. It was also great to take the little monorail the seven or eight blocks back towards downtown. That was worth it too!
Took my friend to the science center to see her first laser show. I managed to keep my plans a secret from her till we got there. We saw the Odesza Laser Show! It was fantastic! She was absolutely mesmerized! There was only about 15-20 people max at that showing. We went to an evening show that started at 8pm. We got there a little early so we strolled around in the Space Needle gift shop and purchased a few souvenirs. What I didn’t realize is that the parking in Seattle is astronomically expensive. Make sure you download the parking app ahead of time otherwise you’ll probably end up like me and get an additional bill mailed to you because you didn’t pay enough through the app. The cost of the laser show was very very reasonable for the experience you get to enjoy. But be prepared to pay out the wazoo in their parking garage. If you do go see a show I highly recommend you bring a blanket and lay on the floor in the center, you get the very best view from there. I also suggest you buy your tickets online just to ensure the show you want to see isn’t sold out.
