Best WLM Reviews
I have to say that we were surprisingly disappointed after seeing the reviews before we went there. As it turned out. We had some issues. Here we go. The room was clean. Thus the only reason for 2 stars and not 1 star. There is no coffee maker of any kind. The pillows were way too thick, which results in a sore neck in the morning. The mattresses were worn out and a spring was jabbing me in the rib. The toilet! Well, if you're a guy. Let me tell you. These are women's toilets. If you know what I mean! You will be very uncomfortable it you're a guy. The toilet is too close to the countertop, so your shoulder is pressed up against it. The bathtub is very narrow. the towels are thin and small. The sprayer on shower was small. The restaurant had only one plain creamer for coffee at the restaurant in the back southwest corner. My wife tasted the water and said it was horrid. I had brought a bottle of wine but forgot to bring my corkscrew from home. So I asked at the desk if they had one I could use. The answer was no, but if I asked at a bar I'm sure they would help you. I went to the Iguana bar. The guy called his manager, who said no because I didn't buy the wine from them. I was thinking how dammed greedy can they get. I ended up having to buy one for 7 bucks at the gift shop. My wife noticed that every time we walked through the Casino. NO BODY WAS WINNING AT ANYTHING! My son went down to play a bit of Blackjack. Had to pay $15 minimum per hand to enter, and lost $90 in about 30 minutes. Our general view is that this hotel and casino are very inconsiderate of their patrons and are strictly looking for ways to get as much money from you as quick as possible. Your comfort and pleasure is something they don't seem to care about. My wife did not like the fact that there was no lock on the bathroom door. Now, I know this is a lot and you're probably thinking we are just picky people. We are not. We have stayed at a lot of hotels and casinos in our 47 years of marriage. This is the 1st time we have felt the need to post a review of this nature.
I absolutely love this casino. There was an employee who has impeccable service and showed me the way. I had no idea I was sitting in the no smoking section but he addressed me in a very respectful manner and pointed to the sign. It felt like he was my family. He needs to train people on how to address customers. I was happy with everything and became more conscious on where I sit. I will definitely do business with Santa Fe and I hope to see the gentleman again. Thank you Santa Fe!!! He should be promoted to a supervisor or manager. It was around 5PM today by the nonsmoking section toward the side entrance by bingo. We spoke Spanish to each other and he would be a great asset in leadership. Teammates would never feel demeaned when there are matters that need to be addressed. I wish I had his name. I just got his name Rogelio he should be in management. Happy Holidays
The hotel room was very clean and modern. The bathroom was also very clean. They lose one star for the rip off resort fee, which is just the way of adding $35 of the room they get you absolutely nothing. Furthermore, while checking in they only had one person working the check-in desk and he was screwing around with customers and taking forever
Took 2 hours for them to replace a disgusting air filter that should have been replaced MONTHS AGO. Stale, dusty smell carried up from the casino floor was noticeable the moment I stepped into my room. I turned the HVAC and fan off until they showed up after midnight to replace. The 2 guys from engineering dept were nice, and upon seeing 3/4 in of fluffy grey dust on the outside of the already saturated filter, understand my point of view right away. The restaurants are overpriced, with small portions. I really like their bingo room, and their casino floor(although it's smoky with poor air filtration).
As a local, this is my go to casino. Every Thursday and Sunday, they offer 10x the points on slot machines. And, their monthly gift days are something to look forward to.
When I purchased my home in Las Vegas, I stayed a week at the Santa Fe Station Hotel. Room was spacious and very clean.
Lastly, everyone you meet at the casino/hotel from staff to folks gambling are friendly. Highly recommend.
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in Las Vegas! Better rates, better casino and better food choices! Situated outside the strip, it is an excellent place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip of Las Vegas! Super friendly staff! We were so impressed that we had 4 rooms booked and we even had our party of 25 for dinner at their Brass Fork restaurant! Lots of food choices here! Front desk staff was extremely customer service oriented and checked us all in within minutes and helpful with our other parties checking in. Highly recommend the Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino! Definitely made a great and lasting impression on me and we plan to come back again for a weekend stay!
Didn't stay in the hotel but we were just visiting family who did and they loved it. We went to visit them while they were bowling on the 50 Lane Alley. It's very nice, plenty of room, and up to speed with other lanes with a bar/dine in area (minimal seating inside) with big screen TVs. The bowling alley also has a Pro Shop to address any of your personal bowling needs.
Their sports betting area is awesome as well (although we didn't stay this time, we have been in there before) but it is outstanding????????????????????????????????????????
Plenty of games to choose from if you like slots.
There's also a bakery and a dine in restaurant right outside of the bowling alley, while on the opposite side they have a food court and cinemas theatres
Their parking structure had plenty of parking and a more than suitable amount of handicap stalls.
The one thing that could've made this a 5 Star visit for us, would have been a family style bathroom and I'd be happy to change it to 5 Stars if someone can point it out in case we visit there again
The rooms were updated spacious and nice only bad thing and the reason I gave a 4 is the beds are extremely lumpy and outdated definitely need to update the mattresses I’m still having a back ache ! The casino is really nice gives lots of play back and you can actually win something the food is really good. Would stay here again but hopefully they get new beds !
